Thermal efficiency systems and methods are provided for installation and use in boiler plants. Thermal efficiency systems include a reservoir, a plurality of heat scavengers, a plurality of heat sinks, and a control system. Each heat scavenger can receive system fluid, extract excess heat from a heated plant fluid, and provide the extracted heat into the system fluid to create heated system fluid. Each heat sink can receive and remove heat from heated system fluid to create cooled system fluid. The controller generates and sends control signals to selectively activate one or more of a plurality of valves to control amount of system fluid directed to each heat scavenger and each heat sink.

Thermal efficiency system and method for boiler plant

Auxiliary boiler systems, and methods of implementing and/or operating auxiliary boiler systems, are disclosed herein. In one example embodiment, an auxiliary boiler system for use in conjunction with a main steam source includes an auxiliary boiler, a deaerator coupled directly to and integrated with the auxiliary boiler, and a condensate storage tank coupled at least indirectly to the deaerator. Also, in another example embodiment, a method of implementing an auxiliary boiler system for use in conjunction with a main steam source includes setting a condensate storage tank in relation to a first support structure at a first position, and setting an auxiliary boiler at a second position. The method further includes directly coupling a deaerator to the auxiliary boiler so that the deaerator is integrated with the auxiliary boiler, and installing at least one interconnection by which the condensate storage tank is at least indirectly coupled to the deaerator.

A modular heat recovery steam generator (mHRSG) comprises a first boiler module comprising a plurality of pipes having at least one pipe with a flanged end; a first piping deck comprising a plurality of pipes having at least one pipe with a flanged end, wherein the pipe with the flanged end is secured to the pipe with the flanged end of the first boiler module using bolts; a second boiler module comprising a plurality of pipes having at least one pipe with a flanged end; a second piping deck comprising a plurality of pipes having at least one pipe with a flanged end, wherein the pipe with the flanged end is secured to the pipe with the flanged end of the second boiler module using bolts; and a main stack. The first boiler module is operatively coupled to the second boiler module and the second boiler module is operatively coupled to the main stack.

Modular heat recovery steam generator system for rapid installation

An oil recovery process entails recovering an oil-water mixture from an oil bearing formation and separating the oil-water mixture to produce an oil product and produced water. The produced water includes suspended and dissolved solids and is subjected to treatment which removes suspended and dissolved solids therefrom. The treated water is then directed to a forced circulation steam generator that includes a furnace having a burner, water cooled walls and an evaporator unit. The treated water is pumped through the water cooled walls and the evaporator unit. The water passing through the water cooled walls and evaporator unit are heated to produce approximately 10% to approximately 30% quality steam in both the water cooled walls and the evaporator unit. The steam is collected and separated from a water-steam mixture to produce high quality steam, on the order of 95% or greater quality steam. This steam constitutes injection steam which is injected into an injection well to facilitate the recovery of the oil-water mixture.
