The present disclosure discloses an optical device structure including an optical fiber including a core part, a clad part, and a three-dimensional micro hole structure in the clad part, wherein a surface of the three-dimensional micro hole structure is provided with at least a non-flat surface, and a conformal graphene layer is formed on the surface of the three-dimensional micro hole structure, and a method of manufacturing the same.

A method for directly synthesizing graphene on a surface of a target object includes: forming a non-metal layer on a support substrate; disposing the target object in a space above the support substrate, which is opposite to the non-metal layer; and injecting a carbon precursor to form graphene on the surface of the target object to synthesize a graphene film, wherein the graphene is nucleated and grown by a decomposition of the carbon precursor, the carbon precursor is decomposed by heat with catalytic assistance from the non-metal layer, and a carbon atom from the decomposition of the precursor is anchored on the surface to form the graphene film.

A method for in situ synthesis of graphene along a lengthwise direction of a waveguide applied to a photonic device includes processing an evanescent field of laser propagating in the waveguide to spread outward the waveguide, depositing a nickel thin film on a surface of the waveguide, growing graphene between a surface of the waveguide and a nickel thin film by irradiating telecommunication laser to a core of the waveguide, and removing the nickel thin film from the waveguide. Accordingly, graphene with high optical nonlinearity is in situ synthesized in the photonic device.

Disclosed is an ultrafast optical switching device based on black phosphorus, including a first channel to generate a first laser which is a continuous wave of a first wavelength, a second channel to generate a second laser which is a continuous wave of a second wavelength different from the first wavelength, a modulator to modulate the second laser generated by the second channel into a pump signal, a first and a second wavelength tunable filters to change wavelengths of the first laser and the second laser, respectively, a directional coupler to couple the first laser and the second laser, and an optical element to control the first and second lasers coupled by the directional coupler by means of nonlinearity and an evanescent field of black phosphorus. Accordingly, volume and size of an ultrafast optical switching device may be reduced, and a data processing rate may be improved.
