According to some embodiments, methods and systems may provide integration adapter generation for a cloud computing environment. The system may include a smart adapter user interface component that receives a standard, programming language-agnostic interface specification. The smart adapter user interface component may then graphically interact with a user via a guided navigation, no-code wizard user interface to collect additional information associated with the standard, programming language-agnostic interface specification. A semantic model is then automatically generated by the smart adapter user interface component based on characteristics of the received standard, programming language-agnostic interface specification and the additional information. A smart adapter generator may receive the semantic model along with information about the standard, programming language-agnostic interface specification and automatically generate a Cloud Integration adapter.

A method and system including receiving selection of a component at a porting module; retrieving a source code for the selected component and a component configuration file for the selected component; receiving component data associated with the component; generating metadata associated with the received component based on the received component data; modifying the component configuration file of the selected component to generate a modified configuration file; generating an integration adapter by modifying the retrieved source code for the selected component with the generated metadata and the modified configuration file; and deploying the integration adapter. Technique for transforming a standard messaging component to a customized component

A repository stores a metric catalog. The metric catalog represents a slice of multidimensional data source. The metric catalog includes a selected measure, at least one analysis dimension, and at least one fixed dimension. A metric catalog system exposes the metric catalog as a web service. A web service client requests to consume the metric catalog. In response to the request, the metric catalog system parses the metric catalog. Based on the parsed metric catalog, one or more queries are generated and executed. Based on the execution of the queries, values of the selected measure for the at least one analysis dimension are determined. The determined values of the selected measure for the at least one analysis dimension is returned to the web service client.

Various embodiments may operate to access individual lines of information included in a file stored in an electronic storage medium, to detect the existence of data clusters in the file based on neighboring cell content in a horizontal direction (corresponding to the individual lines), and in a vertical direction (orthogonal to the horizontal direction), to identify at least some of the data clusters as being associated with predefined table types (comprising vertical tables, horizontal tables, or cross tables), to merge some of the data clusters into section tables having common properties, and to transform the tables resulting from the merging activity, as well as remaining un-merged data clusters, into a single flat table. The stored file may comprise a spreadsheet file.
