The method consists of the steps for: obtaining a first cooling curve of the molten bath of cast iron using a first sampling vessel, obtaining a second cooling curve of the molten bath using a second sampling vessel in which small amounts of tellurium are contained, and comparing the first cooling curve with the second cooling curve.
