The present invention provides an alkali-free glass sheet, which has a content of LiO+NaO+KO of from 0 mol % to 0.5 mol % in a glass composition, and has a Young's modulus of 78 GPa or more, a strain point of 680° C. or more, and a liquidus temperature of 1,450° C. or less.

A glass substrate of the present invention has a strain point of from 695° C. to 740° C., a temperature at 10dPa·s of 1,300° C. or less, a liquidus viscosity of 10dPa·s or more, a Young's modulus of 78 GPa or more, and a thermal shrinkage rate in heat treatment at 500° C. for 1 hour of 20 ppm or less.
