Methods, systems, and apparatus for drone collision avoidance and acoustic sensing are disclosed. An example apparatus to detect acoustic data from a drone includes a controller to set a target revolutions per minute (RPM) for a motor of the drone. The controller is to modify the target RPM based on a modulation pattern to cause the motor to rotate a propeller of the drone at a modulated RPM. The modulated RPM creates self-generated noise. The example apparatus also includes a sensor to gather acoustic data and an analyzer to remove the self-generated noise from the acoustic data to create external acoustic data for processing.

Methods, systems, and apparatus for drone collision avoidance and acoustic detection

Apparatus, systems, methods, and articles of manufacture for tracking a trajectory by rotorcraft unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are described herein. An example trajectory tracking controller includes an altitude controller to calculate an output value of a thrust control variable based on a trajectory of a rotorcraft independent of one or more system parameters of the rotorcraft. The example trajectory tracking controller also includes an attitude controller to calculate output values of roll, pitch, and yaw control variables based on the trajectory independent of the one or more of the system parameters. The example trajectory tracking controller further includes a motor speed selector to select speeds for propeller motors of the rotorcraft based on the output values of the thrust, roll, pitch, and yaw control variables and activate the propeller motors based on the selected motor speeds.

An apparatus is described herein. The apparatus includes a plurality of conductors, wherein at least one conductor is a common-mode conductor. Systems and methods to generate maps or models of structures are disclosed. Features of the structure to be mapped may be determined for the purposes of generating the map or model based at least in part on images associated with the structure, sensor measurements associated with the structure, and phase data of communications signals that interact with the structure. The mapping or modeling processes may be performed at a mapping server that receives images, sensor data, and/or communications signal phase information from one or more user devices, such as mobile devices. The mapping servers may perform a simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) process and may enhance the generated maps using sensor and/or communications phase data to map one or more hidden features of the structure.

Systems and methods to provide distributed wireless communications from a plurality of wireless network devices are disclosed. The plurality of wireless network devices may be configured to provide direction communications with one or more user devices. This may be performed by adjusting one or more radio parameters associated with the plurality of wireless network devices. The plurality of wireless network devices may cooperate with each other to provide network connectivity for the one or more user devices with relatively high fidelity, relatively high bandwidth, and relatively low power consumption. The plurality of wireless network devices may further provide distributed processing capability to perform tasks for user devices that may provide task requests.

The memory module may store at least a portion of the data. Techniques are disclosed for direct viewer projection, which involves having each pixel's emitted light aimed at or otherwise provided directly to the target pupil of a viewing person. In one embodiment, the techniques are implemented using steerable, collimated light sources fashioned into an array to effectively provide a display screen. Each steerable, collimated light source of the array corresponds to one pixel of a given image at a given viewing location, such that no one light source shows a whole image; rather, the whole array is used to display an image. The array can be scanned to provide different images to different viewing locations. The content projected to the different locations may be related (e.g., a movie) or unrelated (e.g., two different movies). A specific viewer can be identified and tracked such that the content is only projected to the target viewer's eyes and no one else's.

A system may include a receiver module configured to receive a digital television (DTV) signal. The system may also include a data extraction module configured to extract the web cache data from the DTV signal, wherein the web cache data is encoded within the spectral bandwidth of the DTV signal. The system may further include a network interface configured to transmit the extracted web cache data to a device that includes a web cache pre-loading service.

An apparatus and method is described herein for reducing noise in a power distribution network for an interface. The power distribution network is characterized. And based on that characterization, worst case patterns for the interface are predicted and avoided. As one example, characterization includes providing a stimulus, such as a step function stimulus, and determining a mathematical function response, such as a step function response. Then, based on the step function response, a resonant frequency for the power distribution network is determined; from which patterns that cause the resonant frequency are identified/predicted. And when identified patterns are detected, they are scrambled or manipulated to avoid causing a worst-case noise scenario in an interface's power distribution network.
