Systems and methods for anomaly detection in workspaces are disclosed. For example, sensor data from sensors associated with a device is gathered and compared with contextual data associated with the device, the environment in which the device is situated, and/or sensitive data that is being accessed to determine whether an anomaly is detected indicating that the environment is unsecure for accessing the sensitive information. An automated action is performed to mitigate unsecure use of the sensitive information based at least in part on the detected anomaly.

Anomaly detection in workspaces

Devices and techniques are generally described for centralized data egress validation. In various examples, a request to send first data to a first destination may be received. In some examples, a first decoder that corresponds to a format of the first data may be determined. In further examples, a policy associated with the first decoder may be determined. In some examples, second data may be generated using the first decoder to parse the first data according to the policy. In various examples, the second data may be evaluated using the policy and a determination may be made whether the first data is permissible to send to the first destination.

Data egress validation

Techniques for improving systems for tracking data access are provided. A system for accessing and encoding data may, upon receiving a request for data, determine whether the data needs to be encoded for the purpose of tracking access to the data. If the system determines that the data needs to be encoded, the system may further determine the information which is to be encoded into the data, such as a client ID/user ID, timestamp, etc. The system may further determine an encoding scheme for the data such as a least significant bit algorithm. The system may further determine encoding data based on the encoding scheme and the information which is to be encoded into the data. The system may also encode the encoding data into the data based on the encoding scheme.

Accessing and encoding data using a least significant bit encoding algorithm

A user may interact with a control interface in the course of interacting with electronic content. The control interface may include any user interface utilized to adjust various aspects of an application, including, but not limited to, scroll bars, sliders, and/or navigation windows. Input at the control interface may be received from the user indicating that the user desires to manipulate the electronic content (e.g., jump to another location in a movie) or, alternatively, that the user wishes to manipulate the control interface. Upon determining that the input is intended to manipulate the control interface, the control interface may be adjusted to display a control interface view that provides finer or coarser granularity, allowing the user to interact with the control interface with more accuracy.
