A method of distinguishing between human-generated text and text generated by artificial intelligence (AI) is disclosed. A plurality of first cryptographic digital signatures associated with a set of typed characters are generated. Generating the plurality of first cryptographic digital signatures may include, for each of multiple keystrokes on a physical keyboard: detecting a motion associated with a pressing of a particular key on the physical keyboard, wherein the particular key is associated with a particular character; generating a first cryptographic digital signature associated with the particular character in response to detecting the motion; and providing a typed character and an associated one of the first cryptographic digital signatures to a first verification entity located within a processing device, for verification of a physical keystroke.

Differentiation between human-generated and AI-generated text

The present disclosure relates to a method for forming an electrically conductive ink able to be deposited through a print nozzle during a 3D printing operation. The method may involves providing an electrically non-conductive flowable material adapted to be flowed through a print nozzle during a 3D printing operation. A predetermined quantity of chiplets may then be mixed into flowable material, in accordance with a predefined percolation threshold, to form a percolating chiplet network within the polymer as the ink is flowed through the print nozzle and deposited on a surface. The chiplets each form an engineered electronic component, and ones of the chiplets randomly connect, in accordance with the predefined percolation threshold, to form an electrically conductive circuit having a predetermined circuit characteristic.

3D printable feedstock inks for signal control or computation

In one aspect the present disclosure relates to a 3D printed signal control backbone apparatus. The apparatus may have a filament including a first material section and a plurality of second material sections. The first material section is bounded on opposing ends by the second material sections. The first material section is formed by an ink having a percolating network of a plurality of chiplets infused in a non-conductive polymer. The plurality of chiplets form electrically responsive elements imparting a predetermined logic function and which are responsive to a predetermined electrical signal. The second material sections are formed by an ink which is electrically conductive.

Systems and methods for controlling a material extrusion device to extrude a filament of an ink are provided. An extrusion printing control system collects from one or more sensors measurements representing an internal state of material extrusion processing during extrusion of the filament. In addition, the system collects an image of the filament as the filament is extruded. The system applies a classifier to the collected image to generate an image-derived state characterizing the filament. Based on the internal state and the image-derived state, the system estimates a derived state using a model. The system determines control parameters using the model to achieve a desired quality of the filament by minimizing a cost function based on the internal state, the image-derived state, the derived state, and constraints of the material extrusion device. Finally, the system provides the control parameters to a controller of the material extrusion device.

Machine learning informed control systems for extrusion printing processes

Systems and methods performed for generating authentication information for an image using optical computing are provided. When a user takes a photo of an object, an optical authentication system receives light reflected and/or emitted from the object. The system also receives a random key from an authentication server. The system converts the received light to plenoptic data and uploads it to the authentication server. In addition, the system generates an optical hash of the received light using the random key, converts the generated optical hash to a digital optical hash, and uploads the digital optical hash to the authentication server. When the authentication server receives the upload, it verifies whether the time of the upload is within a certain threshold time from the sending of the random key and whether the digital optical hash was generated from the same light as the plenoptic data.

Optical authentication of images

A composite material for gas capture including COcapture and capture of other gases. The composite material includes solid or liquid reactive material, filler material, and a gas-permeable polymer coating such that the reactive material forms micron-scale domains in the filler material.

Composite 3D-printed reactors for gas absorption, purification, and reaction

A 3D printable feedstock ink is disclosed for use in a 3D printing process where the ink is flowed through a printing nozzle. The ink may be made up of a non-conductive flowable material and a plurality of chiplets contained in the non-conductive flowable material in random orientations. The chiplets may form a plurality of percolating chiplet networks within the non-conductive flowable material as ones of the chiplets contact one another. Each one of the chiplets has a predetermined circuit characteristic which is responsive to a predetermined electrical signal, and which becomes electrically conductive when the predetermined electrical signal is applied to the ink, to thus form at least one conductive signal path through the ink.

Provided are methods for storing gases on porous adsorbents, methods for optimizing the storage of gases on porous adsorbents, methods of making porous adsorbents, and methods of gas storage of optimized compositions, as in systems containing porous adsorbents and gas adsorbed on the surface of the porous adsorbent. The disclosed methods and systems feature a constant or increasing isosteric enthalpy of adsorption as a function of uptake of the gas onto the exposed surface of a porous adsorbent. Adsorbents with a porous geometry and surface dimensions suited to a particular adsorbate are exposed to the gas at elevated pressures in the specific regime where n/V (density) is larger than predicted by the ideal gas law by more than several percent.
