A zero turning radius mower park brake system includes a pair of steering levers attached to steering arm brackets that are pivotable forward and reverse on a first axis for rotating a pair of traction drive wheels in forward or reverse, and pivotable outwardly on a second axis while in a neutral position. A wire cable connects each steering arm bracket to a park brake. The wire cable retracts sufficiently to actuate the park brake when the steering arm bracket is pivoted outwardly on the second axis, but does not actuate the park brake when the steering arm bracket it pivoted forward or reverse. At least one spring provides a force urging the park brake into engagement when the steering arm pawls to park brake engaged position.

A mower deck transport lock for a parallelogram lift linkage supporting a mower deck at any of a plurality of cutting heights where a striker plate contacts a height of cut selection knob. A transport bracket pivots into engagement with the striker plate only at a transport height above the plurality of cutting heights. A transport lock indicator is activated when the transport bracket pivots into engagement with the striker plate.

A drive-over mower deck includes at least one retractable front roller which is pivotable between a lowered position extending forwardly and downwardly from a rim at a front and center of the drive-over mower deck, and a retractable position in which the front roller pivots freely between the lowered position and a retracted position when the drive-over mower deck lays flat on a ground surface.

A quick remove drive-over mower deck ramp includes plastic body having a first end, a second end and a center portion extending over a pulley and belt on a multi-blade mower deck. The ramp has a rear incline and a front incline, each incline sloping upwardly from one end of the ramp toward the center portion. A first end of the ramp engages a cleat while the ramp is against the mower deck, and disengages the cleat while the ramp is pivoted away from the mower deck.

A mower deck gauge wheel adjustment mechanism includes a support attached to a multi-blade mower deck having a vertical bore. A post is welded to a yoke holding a gauge wheel, and includes a plurality of horizontal grooves, and may be inserted through the vertical bore and positioned at a selected gauge wheel height. A horizontal latch hole may be provided through the support and has a diameter that overlaps the vertical bore. A latch may be inserted through the latch hole, with a first side that engages one of the horizontal grooves when the latch is pivoted downwardly to an engaged position.
