A circuit arrangement for operating a load includes a primary-side switched-mode converter with galvanic isolation of input and output voltage, having: a primary circuit, a secondary circuit and a power transformer, wherein: a first inductor and a second inductor, the first inductor being arranged in the secondary circuit in order to pass the current generated by the transformer when the energy is transferred to the secondary circuit, and the second inductor being interconnected in a measuring circuit. The second inductor is spatially arranged in a stray magnetic field generated by the first inductor; the measuring circuit has an output at which a measuring voltage is output, and the control device is connected to the output of the measuring circuit in order to determine a corresponding current flow from the output measuring voltage, and is configured to control the clocked operation of the switch depending on the current flow determined.

Circuit arrangement for operating a load including a light source

In various embodiments, an electronic operating device for light sources is provided. The electronic operating device may include an input part for inputting an input voltage and an output part for outputting an output voltage and an output current for the light sources. The electronic operating device is configured to operate the output part as a voltage source for a period of time after the input voltage has been applied, and subsequently to operate the output part as a current source after this period of time.

The driver is configured to reduce the duty ratio of the RF signal during at least one predefinable period of the RF signal in order to adjust levels of dimming which correspond to dimming values which are between a first and a second dimming value which differ from one another by at least one period of the RF signal.

A circuit arrangement for operating discharge lamps is provided with an input, to which an AC system voltage from a power supply system can be connected, an output, to which at least one discharge lamp can be connected, a backup capacitance, which is arranged between the input and the output, and a switch, which is in a charging current path of the backup capacitance. An apparatus for controlling at least one electrical load may include at least one pushbutton; a communications interface for communicating with the loads, the loads being switched on and off by the at least one pushbutton via the communications interface; and a first controlled switch with control logic, said switch being connected between the loads and a power supply, and the first controlled switch isolates the power supply from the loads as soon as all of the loads have been disconnected via the communications interface.

Apparatus and method for controlling electrical loads

A system and method for supplying voltage to electrical loads in the onboard electrical system of a motor vehicle are provided. The onboard electrical system consists of at least two onboard electrical system regions. The first onboard electrical system region has an electric generator, a vehicle battery, as well as one or more first electrical loads. The second onboard electrical system region has a double-layer capacitor or a so-called supercap and one or more second electrical loads. Between the two onboard electrical system regions, a blocking device is provided, in particular, a semiconductor diode or a power switch, which permits a current flow from the first onboard electrical system region into the second electrical system region and largely prevents a reverse current flow from the second onboard electrical system region into the first onboard electrical system region. The output voltage of the electric generator is raised and the supercap is charged when a first threshold value of the electric voltage in the second onboard electrical system region is undershot.
