Beverage preparation device provided with a liquid reservoir, a dispensing line connected to the reservoir and a pump for displacing liquid from the liquid reservoir to the dispensing line, wherein the pump is connected to a control unit and is configured to supply liquid to the dispensing line at a first flow rate and at a second flow rate which is greater than the first flow rate, characterized in that the dispensing line comprises an outlet passage with a peripheral wall provided with at least one deformable wall section, which peripheral wall surrounds a relatively small dispensing opening at the first flow rate and surrounds a larger dispensing opening at a second flow rate.

A booster pump for a coffee beverage dispenser's water inlet source, in one example, a 'city water' inlet. A chamber is formed which has the diluent/water inlet and a bottom surface and a top end covered by a removable lid. The removable lid has a hole large enough for a motor to be partially seated within the chamber and the motor has a shaft with supports that is connected to a cover plate that has through holes, and a rotor below the cover plate with a set of radially oriented vanes. The hole in the lid is bigger than the cross section of the cover plate and so the motor, shaft, supports, rotors and cover plate can be pulled out as desired for easier maintenance. When the motor is seated properly in the hole of the lid, the cover plate seats properly along the edge of a cylindrically shaped pump cavity. The cover plate and the edge form a seal. The inlet for the pump cavity has a smaller cross section than its outlet and the pump cavity can have a deflection body. The outlet for the diluent or water leads to the coffee beverage dispenser device.

Distributor () with at least two discharge channels () and feed channel () arranged at an equal distance from and parallel to a central shaft and a distributor body () arranged rotatably around the shaft with a feed end (') disposed along the shaft and a discharge end (&#x2033;) disposed at a radial distance therefrom, which, by way of rotation of the distributor body can be selectively and fluidly connected with the respective discharge channels, wherein the fluid feed channel extends along the central shaft and along the discharge channels, wherein the distributor body comprises a U-shaped connecting channel () and can be arranged together with the feed end rotatably in the line of projection of the feed channel in fluid connection with the respective discharge channels, characterized in that the U-shaped connecting channel is provided, in close proximity to an upper side, with a breather duct () (FIG.) extending through a perimeter wall of the channel in the through-flow direction up to the U-shaped connecting channel.

Distributor () with at least two discharge channels () which are positioned at the same distance from a central axis (), parallel to this axis, a supply channel () and a distributor member () which is rotatable about the axis and has a supply end (') positioned along the axis and a discharge end (&#x2033;) which is set radially apart therefrom and can be brought by rotation of the distributor member selectively into fluid connection with the respective discharge channels, characterized in that the liquid supply channel extends along the central axis and along the discharge channels, the distributor member comprising a U-shaped connection channel which is placed at the supply end rotatably in the extension of the supply channel and can be placed at the discharge end in fluid connection with the respective discharge channels.
