An explosion-proof assembly () is provided for guiding at least one conductor device () through a wall without ignition transmission. The assembly () has at least one bushing part () arranged in the wall having one or more bushing openings, each of which is delimited in the circumferential direction by a bushing surface. A connecting body () is associated with each conductor device () coaxially surrounds a mounting portion of the conductor device () in a flamegap-free connection. The connecting body () has a first outer delimiting surface and the bushing opening defines a second delimiting surface. A flameproof Ex gap () is formed between the two delimiting surfaces by at least partial insertion of the connecting body () into the bushing opening. Bushing openings without a connecting body () are closed in a flameproof manner by a closure member (). A securing device () secures the connecting body () in the bushing opening ().

Explosion-proof assembly and method for producing same

An explosion-proof line bushing and method for producing the line bushing. A prespecified amount of elastomeric material is applied to a line and completely surrounds the line in a flat section in the circumferential direction. The line is inserted into a passage opening of a bushing body. The bushing body is preferably plastically deformed. After the plastic deformation, the elastomeric material substantially fills the volume remaining between the formed bushing body and line. The elastomeric material is elastically deformed and presses both against the line and the formed bushing body so that flame-proof gaps are formed between the bushing body and the line. The applied mass of the elastomeric material is determined depending on the inner volume between the formed bushing body and the line remaining.

Method for producing an explosion-proof line bushing, and explosion-proof line bushing

The invention relates to an explosion-proof assembly () designed to guide at least one conductor device () through a wall in a flameproof manner. The assembly () has a bushing part () with a bushing opening () having a bushing surface (). The bushing part () is arranged in the wall. The bushing opening () has an associated connecting body () with at least one conductor channel () through which a conductor device () extends. The connecting body () has a connecting portion (), which is connected to the conductor () in a frictionally engaged and/or form-fitting manner by plastic deformation. A first delimiting surface () is formed on the plastically deformed connecting portion (), and the bushing surface () defines a second delimiting surface (). A flameproof Ex gap () is formed between the two delimiting surfaces () by inserting the connecting portion () into the bushing opening ().

The invention relates to an explosion-proof assembly () having an electrically conductive stud () made of a material which is not deformable radially. The stud () is coaxially surrounded in a central portion () by an electrically insulating, electrically insulating sleeve (). The sleeve () is in turn coaxially surrounded by a connecting portion () of a plastically deformable connecting body (). Plastic deformation of the connecting portion () reduces the outer dimension thereof and the connecting portion () presses inwardly against the sleeve () to form a frictionally engaged form-fitting connection therebetween such that the connecting body (), the sleeve () and the stud () form a structural unit with at least one stop surface () on the stud () resting against a counter stop surface of the sleeve ().

An explosion-proof arrangement () having a bushing part () with a bushing opening () that defines a bushing surface () and a structural unit () arranged in the bushing opening (). The structural unit () includes a deformable inner body () with at least one conductor channel () extending through in a longitudinal direction (L), and a plastically deformable connecting sleeve () surrounding the inner body (). At least one conductor () is guided through its own associated conductor channel () in the inner body (). A connecting portion () of the connecting sleeve () is plastically deformed so that it presses radially inwardly on the inner body () and deforms it in a radial direction (R). A first delimiting surface () is formed on an outer circumference of the plastically deformed connecting portion (). The bushing surface () forms a second delimiting surface (). By arranging the structural unit () with the first delimiting surface () in the bushing opening (), a flameproof Ex gap () is produced between the two delimiting surfaces ().
