A method for controlling an injection process in an open-loop or closed-loop manner in the production of a molded part injects melt mass by at least one injection unit into at least one cavity enclosed by a tool by means of at least one nozzle. The at least one cavity has at least one measuring location, which is coupled to a binary detector, which can change from a first defined state to a second defined state. The binary detector changes the state thereof at the time at which the melt mass arrives at the measuring location. On the basis of the state change of the binary detector, an open-loop or closed-loop control unit controls the injection velocity V of the at least one injection unit in an open-loop or closed-loop manner, the temperature T of the melt mass before the injection, the termination of the injection at the at least one nozzle, and/or the starting of a subsequent process.

Method for controlling an injection process in an open-loop or closed-loop manner

A measuring arrangement for measuring one or more pressures and/or temperatures in an injection-molding system includes a base plate and at least one mould insert with at least part of a cavity. The base plate and the mould insert rest against one another in a releasable manner on at least one common separating surface. The mould insert includes at least one sensor for detecting pressures and/or temperatures as well as a transmitter module on the separating surface, which transmitter module is electrically connected to the sensor. The base plate includes a receiving module on the separating surface opposite the transmitter module, wherein measurement data can be transmitted from the transmitter module to the receiving module. The transmitter module and the receiving module on the separating surface are essentially planar and can be separated without force.

Measuring arrangement in an injection-moulding system

A measuring arrangement for assembly on or in a tool, in particular, in an injection moulding tool, comprising two or more sensors for the simultaneous measurement of measured parameters, each sensor generating a measurement signal in the operating state, at least two measurement signals being of different types from each other. The measuring arrangement comprises a signal converter with an output interface, all measured signals being converted into the same type of output signal in the signal converter. Said output signals can be transmitted through the output interface by means of a detachable signal line to an analytical unit.

Measuring arrangement

A coupling for a plastics injection molding machine which connects a drive shaft to a screw comprises at least one force sensor with a measuring element for the indirect determination of the nozzle pressure. The coupling comprises a first connection which has torsional strength and does not transfer axial force. The coupling comprises a second connection, which is mechanically uncoupled from the first connection and is compression proof and does not transfer torque between the drive shaft and the feed screw. The measuring element is arranged in the force path A of the second compression proof connection but is not also in the force path T of the first connection. Thus, during operation, measurements in the measuring element are not falsified by torsional forces.

Coupling for a plastics injection molding machine

A temperature sensor has a sensor tip and a front for measuring the temperature of the inner walls of tools, particularly inner walls of injection molding tools. The tip of the temperature sensor has two thermocouple wires of a thermocouple. Each thermocouple wire of the thermocouple guided to the front is welded to the sensor tip up to a depth which is larger than the total processing depth behind the front. The sensor tip is processable by removing of material at the front up to that processing depth.

A measuring system includes a piezoelectric sensor, two or more charge amplifiers that are provided with different amplification settings and one respective output, and a signal splitter which is disposed between the sensor and the amplifiers. A charge signal received by the piezoelectric sensor is subdivided into two or more partial signals on the signal splitter during a measurement, and each of two or more partial signals is fed to one of the charge amplifiers, is processed therein, and is finally fed to the outputs. The signal splitter preferably encompasses two or more capacitors. The inventive measuring system is used above all for measuring forces, pressures, extensions/expansions, moments, or accelerations.
