Aspects of the subject technology relate to electronic devices having speakers. An electronic device may include speaker control circuitry for a speaker. The speaker control circuitry may include multiple parallel prediction blocks that share a single look-ahead delay, and that feed, in parallel, a single controller. The single controller can generate a joint modification to an audio signal based on the parallel outputs of the prediction blocks. The joint modification can then be applied to the audio signal to generate a speaker-protection audio signal that can be output by the speaker. The speaker control circuitry may also include a system modeler that models the speaker system of the electronic device based on feedback measured physical characteristics. In this way, a reduced control safety margin can be achieved by more accurate model predictors, which can allow the controller to safely drive the speaker system to its full capability.

Method for preparing a laminate

A thermal insulating curtain, especially for use in greenhouses, which comprises a plurality of superimposed uni-directionally arranged tubular members with a common slat-like partition between each two adjacent ones of said tubular members. Each of these tubular members along its two opposite sides has a folding crease to allow collapsing said tubular members to thereby permit collapsing the entire curtain in a manner of a blind or to roll the curtain up in the manner of a shade.

A method of and apparatus for producing continuous surface elements, e.g. for so-called air supported shelters, according to which a tubular foil, preferably of plastic material, is wound in several layers between two drums spaced from each other by a distance substantially equaling half the width of the surface element or integral multiples thereof. Immediately prior to winding the tubular foil between the drums, adhesive is applied to the foil so that the outward side of the tubular foil on a preceding winding adheres along a greater or less path to the inward side of the tubular foil in the following winding. After winding a suitable number of loops, in conformity with the desired length of the surface element, the windings are cut mainly perpendicularly with regard to the longitudinal direction of the tubular foil, whereupon the two outer tubular foils in the stack thus obtained are pulled from each other along their whole length, and suitable braces may be introduced into each individual tubular foil section.
