A gliding board, including a gliding surface that terminates in at least one raised end, the end including a peripheral zone and a central zone. The peripheral zone extends from the side of the board toward the central zone the end. This peripheral zone has a thickness, which is less than that of the central zone of the end. The peripheral zone connects to the central zone by a discontinuity that forms an inflexion. The width of the peripheral zone, measured perpendicularly to the side of the board, increases from the beginning of the end to the highest point of the end.

Gliding board

A snow gliding board () comprises, in particular, an upper surface consisting of an upper decorative and protective element () having a recess in which an insert () is fitted. The insert () comprises at least one first part made of an elastomer material () juxtaposed on the upper surface with at least one second part made of a metallic material ().

A board having a lower assembly composed of a sole optionally bordered by metal edges, a central core, and an upper cover forming a shell, composed of an upper wall extended laterally by side walls whose lower corners bear on two longitudinal reinforcement elements which themselves bear on the lower assembly. This board is equipped with at least one vibration damper element which is made of viscoelastic material and is located on one side of the board and emerges visibly on this side, and lies in the region contained between a lower corner of the upper cover and the lower assembly.
