Walking cane handle

A reclined forearm crutch includes a leg; and a cradle attached to the leg for supporting the forearm and elbow of a use. The cradle has a bounding surface area corresponding to at least 20 in. The cradle is angled about 5 to about 50 degrees relative to vertical.

Reclined crutch

A crutch includes an arm rest having an elbow end and a front end, the front end defining a front face having a first opening formed therein, and a bottom edge forming a second opening. The crutch has a handle extending outwardly from the front end of the arm rest, but not from the first or second openings. A leg is received into one of the first and second openings in a first configuration, and into the other of the first and second openings in a second configuration. The leg is selectively convertible between the first and second configuration.

A knee crutch includes a leg tube; a support tube secured to the leg tube and comprising a platform portion and a vertical portion; a cradle positioned atop and secured to the platform portion of the support tube; and a thigh restraint coupled to the vertical portion of the support tube. The thigh restraint has a pair of wings operably coupled to an adjustment mechanism. The adjustment mechanism is configured to simultaneously and dependently adjust an angular position of the pair of wings.

Knee crutch

A foot for a medical mobility device includes an upper portion, a traction surface, and a cushion ring. The upper portion has an opening at a first end for receiving an end of a medical mobility device and an upper portion post extending from a second end away from the opening. The traction surface has a core element that includes a cylindrical post extending upwardly from the traction surface. The upper portion is secured atop the core element. The cylindrical post is adhered to the upper portion post thereby defining a space between the upper portion and the traction surface, and the cushion ring is positioned in the space.

Embodiments of crutches are disclosed. A crutch has a main body having a substantially vertical tubular member with a plurality of apertures formed therein; an angled portion extending upwardly from the substantially vertical tubular member; an arm rest support extending perpendicularly from the angled portion for receiving an arm rest; and a handle extending outwardly from the arm rest support. The crutch further includes a leg telescopically received into the substantially vertical tubular member, and a foot exchangably received by the leg.

Systems, methods and computer-readable media are provided for capturing audio that is memorable. Buffered audio is stored in a first device over a recent interval such as 5 minutes. In the absence of an indication a circular buffer is used that continually replaces old audio. When a user hears something that he wants to capture, he manipulates a control on the first device that results in buffered audio being transferred to another storage area. An audio file is automatically created. A second device can receive the created audio file, and it is capable of annotating the audio with a more descriptive title, an appropriate photo, etc. The second device is also able to provide a control interface for the capture application in the first device.

Low-power convenient system for capturing a sound

Systems, methods, and devices are provided for a near-field communication (NFC) system for use with mobile computing device. In an embodiment, an RFID reader device is configured for operation with a smart phone using the audio (headphone) port, and which is entirely powered and controlled by the mobile computing device through the audio port. A specially tuned charge pump ladder is used for powering the RFID reader device over a TRRS connection with the mobile computing device, without requiring an internal power source, such as a battery, in the RFID reader device. In an embodiment, an app running on the mobile computing device includes functionality for providing power and data channels over the TRRS port to the RFID reader device.
