A DC/DC converter circuit for phase-modulated communication comprises a push-pull driver to which a reference clock having a fixed predefined frequency can be applied on the input side; a transformer having a primary and secondary coil, wherein the push-pull driver is connected to the primary coil on the output side; a synchronous rectifier connected to the secondary coil on the AC-side; a resonant circuit having a capacitance and an inductance, wherein the resonant circuit is designed such that a part of the resonant circuit is on a primary side of the transformer and another part of the resonant circuit is on a secondary side of the transformer; a decoupling inductor connected on a secondary side of the transformer and downstream of the synchronous rectifier, which is not part of the resonant circuit; and an output capacitor connected in series with the decoupling inductor via which an output voltage is provided.

Disclosed is a field device electronics for a field device of automation engineering, comprising: first and second terminals for connecting the field device electronics to a cable for an electrical input current to the field device electronics; a series regulator to set the input current; a shunt regulator following the series regulator; a first capacitance connected in parallel with the shunt regulator for energy storage; a supply circuit connected in parallel with the shunt regulator and the first capacitance for providing an operating voltage; and connected after the supply circuit and supplied by the operating voltage, a control unit adapted to register a buffer voltage lying across the first capacitance, based on the registered buffer voltage, to make a decision concerning at least one part of the field device electronics.

The invention relates to a method for mechanical connecting especially of a potting frame to a printed circuit board of an electrical/electronic module. The potting frame includes a metal contact area. The printed circuit board includes a surface area structured metallically corresponding to the contact area. The method includes positioning the mechanical component with the contact area facing the corresponding surface area, and soldering the mechanical component to the printed circuit board via the contact area and the surface area. The method the advantage that a material saving encapsulation can be provided for electrical/electronic modules in explosion endangered regions. An additional process step for mechanical connecting of the encapsulation to the printed circuit board can be omitted, since the mechanical connecting of the potting frame can be performed in one process step together with the soldering of the additional electrical/electronic components to the printed circuit board.

Disclosed is a field device adapter for wireless data transfer, comprising: an adapter housing having a first and a second end, the first end such that the field device adapter can be mechanically connected to a field device and the second end such that a two-wire cable can be connected to the field device adapter. The adapter housing also having an adapter chamber; a supply electronics unit arranged in the adapter chamber and designed to provide a supply voltage via a voltage tap; an adapter electronics unit; and an adapter connection cable at the first end for connecting the adapter electronics to a field device electronics. The adapter electronics are designed to communicate the two-conductor signals between the field device electronics and the two-conducting-wire cable and also to convert the two-conductor signals into radio signals or vice versa.

Disclosed is a primary-clocked switching power supply for converting an input voltage into an output voltage, comprising: a primary side circuit branch, where the input voltage can be applied; isolated from the primary side circuit branch, a secondary side circuit branch, where the output voltage is tappable; between the primary side and the secondary side circuit branch, a galvanic isolation; a fuse or circuit breaker arranged in the primary side circuit branch; a first switchable switch element arranged in the primary side circuit branch such that switching trips the primary side fuse or circuit breaker; and a monitoring unit connected with the first switch element and arranged in the primary side circuit branch and adapted to monitor a characteristic electrical signal determined by the second primary winding and, when the characteristic electrical signal exceeds a threshold value, to switch the first switch element.
