In one instance, a medical device for harvesting epidermal tissue from a patient includes a first compartment that is mateable with a second, disposable compartment that goes against the skin. The first compartment has a floor that is formed, at least in part, by a first printed circuit board. The ceiling of the second, disposable compartment is formed at least in part by a second printed circuit board that electrically couples with the first printed circuit board when in a mated position. Suction is delivered to the second compartment to pull skin through apertures on the floor of the second compartment to form blisters that are harvested to obtain epidermal tissue. The first compartment remains uncontaminated in use and the second compartment is disposable. Other features are presented; some of which include a thermal sensor in the second compartment for temperature control, clear side walls, and a distributed heating element.

Devices, systems, and methods for epidermal tissue harvesting

A screw less, adjustable cover plate for electrical fixtures is disclosed. The cover plate has a rear side which comprises of a prong attached thereto or molded as an integral part of the cover plate. The prong extends rearward from the cover plate and is orthogonal to a face of the cover plate. The prong is positioned in such a manner that it aligns with a threaded hole in the electrical outlet conventionally used to receive a screw for fastening the cover plate to the outlet. In an embodiment, the prong is configured to be pushed and not threaded into the threaded hole, in order to secure the cover plate to the electrical outlet. In this manner, the cover plate can be quickly installed without any tools and screws.

Embodiments of the present disclosure generally provide a device for securing the external control surfaces of an aircraft. A gust lock is described for securing the control surfaces of an aircraft that includes an elongated top plate having a rotably associated strap lock, an elongated bottom plate having a rotably mounted capture piece, and a strap running from the capture piece through the strap lock to a tail section.

An improved mounting mechanism for mounting and holding electronic and other devices in vehicles which increases safety in a vehicular and improves the ability of an operator to incorporate the captured device in their instrument scan. In one embodiment, the improved mounting mechanism captures a device and holds it in a housing using mounting holes located or attached to a panel while allowing for easy removal of the portable device, efficient cable capture, and proper viewing angles. Another embodiment provides an alternate mounting scheme for attaching to an instrument panel.

A panel dock has a body, a retainer, and a bracket. The retainer is rotably secured to the body and includes a shaft having at least one arm extending from the shaft and at least one finger extending from the shaft. The bracket is attachable to an electronic device. The bracket includes a bar sized to be secured between the arm and the finger.

The light fixture may also comprise an openable door such that at least one light bulb is coupled to the door. A sprayer has a sprayer outlet and a pressurizable reservoir adapted to contain a fluid. The reservoir has an air-pressure outlet and a reservoir outlet, the reservoir outlet being in fluid connection with the sprayer outlet. Detachable, pressurizable tanks are adapted to contain a chemical, each tank having a chemical outlet and an air-pressure inlet. Each air-pressure inlet is in fluid connection with the air-pressure outlet of the reservoir for equalizing air pressure between the reservoir and each tank. A switch is adjustable between a plurality of settings for causing at least one of the chemical outlets to be in fluid connection with the sprayer outlet. A ratio valve is provided for selecting a fluid flow rate out of the selected outlet. Fluids flowing into the sprayer outlet from the outlets are mixed together prior to discharge from the sprayer outlet.

A mounting device for an antenna device and its method for mounting, and removing the antenna utilizes a dock unit and a base unit. In addition to providing a mounting mechanism, the capture or mounting of the device incorporates a storage feature for the antenna cable to make it transportable. The apparatus provides a means for connecting an antenna to a housing, storing a cable in the housing, and capturing the housing to a docking mechanism while allowing for easy removal of the antenna, and cable storage feature.

An impact resistant assembly for a handheld fluorescent task lamp, comprising a housing configured as a hollow tubular handle; a generally tubular lens body molded of a substantially clear plastic material, seated in a recess within a first end of the housing and enclosing at least one compact fluorescent bulb; an elongated spine member extending from a rearward side of the first end of the housing approximately parallel to a longitudinal axis thereof and configured for slidingly supporting the lens body on a track formed along a rearward portion of the lens body; and a resilient bulkhead disposed within a distal portion of the lens body for cushioning a distal end of the at least one compact fluorescent bulb.
