A vehicle has steering and drive wheels supported by legs articulated to the structure of the vehicle. Each leg is rotatably mounted on a main support around a transverse axis. The main support is rotatably mounted about the transverse axis on a base structure, which is connected to the structure of the vehicle. An actuator device is operatively interposed between the main support and the base support to adjust the position of the main support around the transverse axis, and consequently the height of the vehicle from the ground. A hub-bearing support carrying the wheel hub is rotatably mounted around a wheel steering axis on an auxiliary camber adjustment support. The latter is carried around a camber adjustment axis on a further auxiliary caster adjustment support. The latter is carried by the leg around a caster adjustment axis. The steering of the wheel and the camber adjustment are controlled by respective actuator devices. The caster adjustment is automatically controlled as the position of the leg changes around the transverse axis.

An apparatus for selecting products on the basis of their composition via X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy includes an X-ray source that emits an X-ray beam towards a product sample, and a particle detector for receiving an X-ray beam diffused by the product sample and generating a signal received that can be analysed to determine a chemical composition of the product sample and selecting a type of product corresponding to said chemical composition of the product sample. The apparatus includes a first vacuum chamber located between an output of the apparatus facing the product sample and the X-ray source, and a second vacuum chamber located between the output of the apparatus facing the product sample and the detector. The apparatus also includes an optical module with polycapillary lens located downstream of the X-ray source, which is configured for focusing the X-ray beam and is associated in a vacuum-tight way to the first vacuum chamber.

A large-scale, high-mobility all-terrain vehicle is equipped with at least two articulated front legs and at least two articulated rear legs. Each articulated leg is connected to the vehicle structure about two mutually orthogonal axes to allow a variation of the track width distance between each pair of track assemblies and a variation of the height of the vehicle structure with respect to each track assembly. Each track assembly is connected to the respective leg about a horizontal transverse axis and about a vertical axis, and about a longitudinal axis. The vehicle structure has a front module and a rear module articulated about a longitudinal axis and a driving cabin that can be rotated downwards to allow ample visibility of the ground in front. The track assemblies are connected to the respective articulated legs by quick coupling devices.

An all-terrain vehicle for civil protection activities includes a vehicle structure with at least one module for transporting persons and/or material, and a plurality of legs bearing respective wheel assemblies or track assemblies. Each leg is pivotably mounted about a first transverse axis. One first end of the leg carries a wheel assembly or a track assembly and a second end is freely mounted pivoting about the first transverse axis on a first support which is carried by the vehicle structure. An electronically-controlled actuator adjusts an angular position of the first support about a first transverse axis. Between the first support and the leg structure two spring-shock absorber assemblies are interposed, which extend along the leg.

A folding urban mobility vehicle includes a frame, a pair of front wheel assemblies carried by respective front arms articulated to the frame about a first axis, and a rear wheel assembly carried by a rear arm articulated to the frame about a second axis. In a folded configuration of the vehicle the front wheel assemblies are located within the frame and the rear wheel assembly extends within the frame between the two front wheel assemblies.

A door unit for rail vehicles includes one or two sliding doors, means for supporting and guiding each sliding door between a closed position and an open position, and means for controlling the movement of each door between a closed position and an open position. The supporting, guiding and controlling means are carried on a support unit which defines an independent module with the doors, assembled prior to being mounted on the vehicle structure. The support unit includes at least one frame connectable to the vehicle structure and supporting each door, and the respective guiding and controlling means. The frame includes an upper cross-member, a lower cross-member and two uprights connecting these cross-members between them, in such a way to form a perimeter frame that defines a doorway, and which surrounds the four sides of the door or doors, when they are in the closed position.
