An apparatus for applying self-adhesive labels includes a supporting base for at least one reel of a ribbon that supports self-adhesive labels, elements of feeding the ribbon to a head for applying the self-adhesive labels, and a device for taking up the ribbon. The application head can move on command about an orientation axis in order to vary its own direction of extension with respect to the unwinding direction of the ribbon from the reel. The feeder elements include at least one redirection roller, the rotation axis of which can rotate on command, with respect to the reel, about an adjustment axis that is substantially parallel to the orientation axis in order to bring the direction of extension of the ribbon at the application head.

Apparatus for applying self-adhesive labels

A labeling machine having a device for applying labels to containers to be labeled, the application device being fed by a feeding unit supported by a base frame and including at least one device for supporting a spool of a film of labels which is arranged around a hollow tubular body. The supporting device includes at least one base body supported by the base frame and an elongated body which can be associated removably with the base body by virtue of a removable connecting component, the elongated body being insertable into the hollow tubular body of the spool when separated from the base body. Locking components are further provided which are adapted to lock the elongated body in the tubular body with the elongated body separated from the base body.

Labeling machine

An assembly for feeding backing ribbon for adhesive labels for labeling products to be labeled, comprising a splicing device and at least two supporting elements for the backing ribbon, the splicing device being intended to perform on command the splice between a first splicing region, formed on a first backing ribbon being unwound from a first supporting element, and a second splicing region, formed on a second backing ribbon wound on a second supporting element, the first backing ribbon supporting a plurality of adhesive labels which are arranged, mutually spaced, on the face directed toward the second splicing region; the first backing ribbon having, when associated with the respective first supporting element, at least one portion that is free from self-adhesive labels and forms the first splicing region; the portion is located substantially at the end of the first backing ribbon that is associated with the first supporting element.

Assembly for feeding backing ribbon for labeling products to be labeled

A machine for labeling containers includes a rotating carousel with a lower base which supports a plurality of supporting pans for the containers and an upper supporting structure for a plurality of heads which are intended to engage the top portion of the containers. The labeling machine further includes a device for feeding the containers to be labeled to the rotating carousel and a device for unloading the labeled containers. The feeding device includes at least one first device for conveying the containers to be labeled which is provided with first elements for supporting the containers to be labeled at the neck. The labeling machine includes first elements for varying the height of the bottom of the containers to be labeled in order to bring the bottom to substantially the same height as the supporting pans.

A carousel for processing containers includes a base structure that can rotate about the rotation axis of the carousel and supports a plurality of supporting elements. A detection device is provided having at least one sensor that can move about the rotation axis of the carousel. The carousel further includes a plurality of kinematic connection elements arranged between the base structure and the sensor or sensors, which are adapted to couple integrally in rotation the sensor or sensors and the base structure during the movement of the sensor or sensors. The kinematic connection elements are associated with motor elements adapted to return on command the sensor or sensors from a final angular position to the initial angular position by way of an angular movement of the sensor or sensors in the opposite direction with respect to the rotation of the base structure.

Carousel for processing containers

A device for producing a sleeve-like label, comprising at least one feeder, designed to feed to at least one forming spindle a portion of heat-shrink film, and elements for wrapping the portion of heat-shrink film around the lateral surface of the forming spindle; elements for detecting the angular position of the free edge of the second longitudinal end of the portion of film wrapped around the forming spindle with respect to an absolute reference system that is jointly connected to the forming spindle; relative movement elements adapted to move the free edge detected by the detection elements to a preset position in order to provide a connecting portion at a preset distance with respect to the free edge, elements being further provided for transferring the sleeve-like label from the forming spindle to a container to be labelled.

Method and device for producing sleeve-like labels

A device for forming and transferring a sleeve-like label to a container to be labeled, comprising a feeder designed to feed a portion of heat-shrink film to at least one forming spindle and means for wrapping the portion of heat-shrink film around the lateral surface of the forming spindle, feeder means being provided which are adapted to move, along an approach path that has at least one component perpendicular to the axis of the forming spindle, the container to be labeled to a labeling position arranged below the forming spindle and pick-up means adapted to pick up the container with the sleeve-like label fitted around the respective lateral surface along a path for removal from the labeling position which has at least one component perpendicular to the axis of the forming spindle.

Device for forming and transferring a sleeve-like label to a container to be labeled

An apparatus () and a method for feeding a continuous tape () for forming labels () is disclosed, according to which a pair of rollers () advances the tape at an advancing speed that is calculated on the basis of the rotation speed of one cutting roller () that cuts the tape into labels, () at a signal that is indicative of the cut that occurred and at a positioning error of an actual image present on the tape with respect to a reference image. The real image is detected by a linear camera () or by a matrix camera.

Feeding apparatus and method
