Device for hooking/unhooking LC connectors

A subrack for supporting cards and printed circuit boards (PSC) for telecommunication equipment which allows complete use of the space available for these cards and circuit boards, while meeting the DIN 41494-IEC 297 standard, with a pitch at least 4 times lower than the pitch required by this standard. The subrack includes undrilled crosspieces, provided only with grooves, one of which is associated with a positioning toothing with teeth forming a rack, having a pitch equal to half of the pitch of drillings of conventional crosspieces. The teeth are inserted into seats machined into the guide of the printed circuit board, each seat being offset by a quarter of the pitch required by the standard. Therefore, by successive turning the boardguide by 180.degree., a series of real pitches is obtained which is a quarter of the minimum pitch required by the standard.

Subrack for telecommunication equipment

Pitch variators for connectors of subracks housing telecommunication equipment and fixed to racks are described, which allow shifting of said connectors within a fraction of the shifting of the subracks and which consist of a fixed slotted frame and of a transition piece which can be snap-inserted into the slotted frame in a number of position matching with the ratio between the holes on the upright and the distance of the sliding guides of the units of printed circuit boards in the modular container of the subrack.

Pitch variators for sub-rack connectors

A rack for housing telecommunication equipment, which consists of metallic uprights and a number of brackets having a base for the subracks and side ribs with a notch engageable on a pin of the upright, is characterized in that the upright (MO') has a U-shaped cross sections, that is comprising a rear base (Z) and two side bodies (CL, CL') extending in the vertical direction, and is provided in the proximity of the free end of said bodies (CL, CL') with a series of inwardly protruding pins or pivost (PE) equally spaced from one another (DI); at their most inner end the ribs (SA, SA') of the brackets (ME') bear vertical strips (ST) on which are drilled from bottom to top a number (n) of holes (BU) and one slit (FR), in addition to the above mentioned semicircular notch (I); the diameter of holes (BU) and notch (I) as well as the width of slit (FR) are slightly larger than the diameter of said pins (PE) inwardly protruding from the side bodies (CL, CL') of upright MO'.
