A luminous glazing unit includes a first glass substrate, made of mineral glass and in optical contact with a second glass substrate, a polymer layer, selected from a lamination interlayer, associated with a tinted and/or reflective element, and/or an opaque polymer encapsulation, a porous silica layer, underneath the polymer layer, a light source, optically coupled to the first glass substrate, and a light-extracting device associated with the first glass substrate, a mineral and transparent protective coating made of silica, directly on the porous silica layer and directly underneath the polymer layer.

The invention relates to a transparent or semi-transparent substrate having, over at least a portion of at least one of its surfaces, a photocatalytic coating based on titanium oxide and characterized in that the coated surface has a luminous reflectance less than that of a non-coated surface of the substrate. The invention also relates to methods for obtaining a substrate of this type and to uses for this substrate.

Substrate having a photocatalytic coating

The invention relates to a self-cleaning lighting device comprising a light source and a wall, which permits a portion of at least the radiation emitted by said source to pass therethrough and which is covered, over a portion of at least one of its two faces, by a photocatalytically active layer. The invention is characterized in that under the weakest illumination conditions, the photocatalytic activity of said layer is high enough for degrading and reducing organic soilings into easily eliminable particles that do not adhere to said layer, and/or for conferring a hydrophilic character to this layer. The invention also relates to a method for producing the aforementioned device, a translucent wall provided for this device, and to the use of the device for lighting tunnels, public lighting, airport runway lighting, indoor lighting or for headlamps or indicator lights of transportation vehicles.

Self-cleaning lighting device

The invention relates to a transparent substrate based on glass or one or more polymers, or a ceramic or glass substrate, or a substrate made of architectural material of the type comprising a wall render, a concrete slab or block, architectural concrete, roof tile, material of cementitious composition, terracotta, slate, stone, metal surface or a fibrous substrate, based on glass of the mineral insulation wool type, or glass reinforcement yarns. This substrate is distinguished in that it is provided, on at least part of its surface, with a coating whose mesoporous structure exhibits photocatalytic properties and comprises at least partially crystallized titanium oxide. Process for manufacturing this substrate, its application in glazing, as architectural material or as mineral insulation wool is also described.

Substrate with a self-cleaning coating

The subject of the invention is a substrate provided on at least part of at least one of its faces with a coating having photocatalytic properties, containing photocatalytic titanium oxide, especially crystallized in the anatase form, in an essentially mineral binder comprising at least one semiconducting metal oxide. The subject of the invention is also a process for obtaining said substrate, especially by thermal decomposition of precursors or by a vacuum deposition technique.
