A system for integrating mobile terminals into a private telecommunication system includes first and second servers respectively associated with a public mobile telecommunication system accessed by the mobile terminals and with the private telecommunication system. The servers enable setting up of incoming or outgoing calls relating to the mobile terminals and in accordance with a private numbering scheme specific to the private telecommunication system. They hold first and second service data relating to mobile terminal users. The first and second servers cooperate for setting up calls relating to the mobile terminals and/or managing service data.

System for integrating mobile telecommunication terminals into a private telecommunication system

In a method of routing a call to a wireless telephone service subscriber entitled to the call routing service, the subscriber is assigned a numbering plan number. The number of the nearest fixed station is determined. The number of the nearest fixed station is written into the database of a service control point serving the subscriber. For each call to be routed, the nearest fixed station number is read from the database of the service control point. A word identifying the telephone is then sent to the fixed station designated by the nearest fixed station number. This fixed station then sends at least one call message containing the word identifying the telephone of the subscriber and the number of the fixed station. The call message is received by the telephone of the subscriber, the word identifying that telephone is recognized and the subscriber is alerted. A call is set up between the subscriber and the fixed station by sending from the subscriber's telephone to the fixed station a response message containing the word identifying the telephone and the number of that fixed station.

Wireless telephone service subscriber call routing method

In a wireless telephone service access method a caller is authenticated by: storing and keeping up to date in service control point databases words identifying each subscription and the corresponding telephone and a secret key; transmitting from the caller's telephone to a service control point words identifying the subscription and the caller's telephone; determining in the caller's telephone a first signature using the secret key and a random number; transmitting the first signature to said service control point over the user to user signaling channel; determining in said service control point a second signature using the secret key and said random number; verifying in said service control point that: the first and second signatures are identical; the word identifying the caller's subscription represents a valid subscription; and the word identifying the caller's subscription matches the word identifying the caller's telephone.

Wireless telephone service access method

A switching center of the invention includes a service access exchange and a control point which are interconnected by an interconnection multiplex link. The exchange is connected to base station controllers via first multiplex links and to the public switched telephone network by second multiplex links which also convey signalling relating to a permanent file, relating to a temporary file, and relating to other switching centers. The exchange sets up semipermanent links between the interconnection multiplex link connecting it to the control point and both the first multiplex links for the purpose of interchanging signalling, and to the second multiplex links for interchanging signalling with the permanent and temporary files and with other switching centers.

The cordless telephone service or 'telepoint' access network comprises a distribution network constituted by cordless telephones and base stations connected by cable to the switched network, together with a service control point network including network service control points each having a subscriber data base and acting to authenticate calling subscribers, to set up calls, to localize subscribers at their own request, and to set up incoming calls. The service control point network further including a managing service control point for controlling the data bases and for providing commercial management of the service. The managing service control point is connected to the network service control points which are in turn connected to the switched network, and each base station is connected to the switched integrated services network via a 2B+D or 30B+D type channel.

Access network for a cordless telephone service

A time division exchange controlled by a plurality of control units (UC, UCP), terminal units (UT) and markers (MQ). The control units are connected to each other and to the markers by a data interchange network (RIT) of a type which provides point-to-point serial connections. The network is duplicated and operates using a semaphore procedure. Access to the network is controlled by a duplicated controller (DR). Two-way multiplex links (LX) are provided over switched paths which could be used for voice or data switching. They are also used using a semaphore procedure and serve to provide connections between the control units and the terminal units. These connections are established via the exchange switching network. The invention is applicable to telephone switching or to data switching at subscriber or trunk level.
