A computer implemented method controls vehicle operation. The vehicle has vehicle components operable by processing circuitry based on predicted user behavior. The method includes receiving, by the processing circuitry, a signal indicative of a current user behavior for a user currently operating the vehicle; comparing, by the processing circuitry, the current user behavior with a predicted user behavior. When a difference between the current user behavior and the predicted user behavior is above a predetermined threshold limit: new user behavior based on the current user behavior is formed and operation of at least one of the vehicle components is controlled using the new user behavior.

Method of controlling a vehicle operation

A method for detecting a replacement of a differential pressure sensor arranged for measuring a differential pressure across a filter of an aftertreatment system of a vehicle. The method includes determining a sensor offset value being an offset from a sensor value measured with a differential pressure sensor; adding an adaption value to the measured sensor value to compensate for the offset value to centre the sensor value around a predetermined level; if a sum of a subsequently measured sensor value and the adaption value exceeds a limit value, concluding that the differential pressure sensor has been replaced.

Detection of differential pressure sensor replacement

The invention concerns a method for controlling regeneration of an exhaust gas aftertreatment system () of an internal combustion engine () arranged on a vehicle (), wherein the vehicle () is provided with a control system configured to control the regeneration in at least a first regeneration strategy mode comprising a first set of predetermined actions to be taken for controlling initialization and performance of regeneration processes. The method comprises the steps of: ()&#x2014;adapting the control system so as to be configured to alternatively control the regeneration in a second regeneration strategy mode, wherein the second regeneration strategy mode comprises a second set of predetermined actions to be taken for controlling initialization and performance of regeneration processes, and wherein the first and second regeneration strategy modes differ from each other in that the first and second set of predetermined regeneration control actions differ from each other; ()&#x2014;collecting, during operation of said vehicle () or of another vehicle, data on an exhaust gas regeneration capability of said vehicle () or the other vehicle as a function of time; and ()&#x2014;evaluating, based on the collected data and the difference between the first and second regeneration strategy modes, whether the first or the second regeneration strategy mode is the most suitable for said vehicle () if operating under conditions corresponding to the operational conditions for the vehicle for which data were collected. The invention also concerns a vehicle arranged to be the subject of such a method and to a computer program product, a computer readable medium and a control system related to performance of the steps of the above method.
