A method includes receiving a chip select signal at an SPI client device. The method also includes, responsive to receiving the chip select signal, transmitting a first bit of an SPI transmission to an SPI host device, where the first bit of the SPI transmission is transmitted with a delay based at least in part on a loop propagation delay of an SPI channel. The method includes receiving a clock signal at the SPI client device. The method also includes, responsive to receiving the clock signal, transmitting a second bit of the SPI transmission to the SPI host device.

In some examples, a device comprises a capacitor a bidirectional inverting buck-boost converter coupled to the capacitor and configured to couple to multiple loads and to a voltage source, wherein the bidirectional inverting buck-boost converter is configured to: compare a voltage across the capacitor with a reference voltage; and based on the comparison, facilitate converting a dissipation current flowing from one of the multiple loads into a recycling current.

Elements of a single beam-forming array of ultrasonic transducer elements are selectively activated to direct two or more ultrasonic beams to a series of acoustic mirrors mounted to or fabricated at known locations at an inside surface of the pipe. An electronic device for optimizing the output power of a solar cell, the electronic device having: a variable resistor coupled in series between the solar cell and a load, a control unit that is configured to control the variable resistor, a sensor for measuring an output voltage and a sensor for measuring the output current of the solar cell, wherein the control unit is configured to vary the resistance of the series resistor over time such that the first order derivative of the output voltage over time has a constant value, to monitor the second order derivative of the output current over time simultaneously, to detect whether the second order derivative of the output current over time exceeds a predetermined threshold value and to identify the corresponding values of the output voltage and current as a maximum power point (MPP) of the solar cell.
