A filter device for transmission oil has a filter element () insertable into a transmission oil pan () with a filter medium () separating an unfiltered side from a filtrate chamber connected to an outlet (), to which a suction oil pump can be connected. The filter medium () has a first structural layer () having a predetermined surface area and predeterminable filter properties and has a second structural layer () having predeterminable filter properties. The surface area of the second structural layer () is different from the surface area of the first structural layer (). The structural layers () encompass an inner filter cavity () and are pleated having the same type of pleats. The pleated structural layers () extend in axial alignment between two end caps () of the filter element (). Viewed in the flow direction of the fluid flow to be cleaned, the structural layers () having the higher filtration grade are downstream of an upstream structural layer () having a lower filtration grade.

Filter device

A support structure () for a filter element includes at least one surface part (), in which one or more fluid passage openings (-) with predetermined opening cross-sections are formed. The opening cross-section of at least one fluid passage opening (-) is at least partially elliptical-shaped.

Support structure for a filter element

A filtering element for filtering devices, comprising a filtering material () which defines a filtering space and is intended for the filtration of fluids, and at least one water indicator () which is provided at a location coming into contact with fluid during the filtration mode and indicates the presence of water in the fluid in a visually recognizable manner, is characterized in that the at least one water indicator () is provided on an end cap () for mounting at one end of the filtering material (), and/or is at least partially part of the end cap (), and/or is provided on a fluid-permeable supporting structure () surrounding the filtering material (), and/or is at least partially part of the supporting structure ().

Filtering element

A filter material () for fluids, in particular hydraulic fluids, includes a filter medium () having at least one layer, and a supporting structure () partially made of a plastic material and resting flatly in some surface areas on at least one side of the filter medium (). The filter medium () and the supporting structure () are connected to one another by laminating, covering and/or by a melting process.

Filter material for fluids and method for producing a filter material

A filter medium for cleaning fluids includes a filter layer () formed from a filter material in a pleated web with a longitudinal direction (X) and a transverse direction (Y). A plastic grid () forms a support layer, bears against the filter layer () and has linear elements () delimiting through openings () between them. Two groups of linear elements () extend approximately at right angles to one another and delimit rectangular through openings (). The linear elements () having a smaller diameter (d) are in direct contact with the filter layer (). The linear elements () having a larger diameter (d) and having a greater spacing from one another relative to the filter layer () rest on the smaller diameter linear elements ().

Filter medium

A filter material for a fluid, particularly a hydraulic fluid, has a multi-layer filter medium () through which a fluid can flow and having a filter layer () and a drainage layer () forming a three-dimensional structure designed to enlarge the flow channels formed for the fluid to flow through. The drainage layer cooperates with an adjacent drainage layer and/or has individual line elements () that form a mesh or grid structure. Those line elements are arc-shaped or curved at least to some extent.

Filter material for a fluid and drainage layer for such a filter material including a filter element

A filter has a filter medium () during operation clears fluid, particularly in the form of hydraulic fluid. The filter medium () is made of a material such that the potential difference to the fluid to be cleaned is low. The parts of the filter medium () have different potentials with respect to each other and/or the fluid to be cleaned such that they cancel each other at least partially, specific dissipation is aspired, or a return of electric charge to the associated filter medium () is provided, using a charge equalization situation.

Filter

A filter element includes a filter medium () extending between two end caps () that are respectively connected to an associable end region () of the filter medium (). The filter medium is supported at least on one side on a supporting tube (). At least one of the end caps () and/or at least one end region () of the filter medium () has a contacting device () and/or the respective end cap () itself or its parts are embodied in such a way as to derive the electrostatic charges, especially occurring during the operation of the filter element to ensure that the charge generated on the filter medium (Meshpack) by tribo-electrical effects can escape towards a mass point or a mass site via the contacting device () or the respective end cap ().
