A method for producing a structured fibrous web, in particular a tissue web, includes bringing a fibrous suspension into contact with at least one structured forming belt and dewatering by using at least one dewatering element, in particular a suction element. The at least one structured forming belt includes a layer of polymer foam providing a paper-contacting side of the structured forming belt. The structure of the foam layer is at least partially transferred to the fibrous web. A structured forming belt and a machine for producing a fibrous web are also provided.

Method and forming belt for producing a fibre material web

A clothing, in particular a forming belt for a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web, includes a paper side, a backing side, a basic structure and at least one further structure. The at least one further structure is formed of or includes a layer of polymer foam providing the paper side of the clothing. A method for producing the clothing is also provided.

Clothing for a machine for producing a fibrous web

A method produces or machines a roller which is suitable to be used in a machine for producing or processing a fibrous web. The roller contains a roller core and at least one functional layer. The method is characterized in that the method includes the application of a functional layer. The application of the functional layer is performed by applying a coating substrate to the surface of a roller core. The application takes place simultaneously over at least half the roller width, preferably over 75% of the roller width, particularly preferably over the entire roller width. The entire applied coating substrate or parts thereof are hardened, forming a solidified structure.

Method for producing or machining a roller, roller and functional layer of a roller

A press arrangement for a machine for producing and/or processing a fibrous web, in particular a paper, board or tissue web. The arrangement has at least a central roll and a first and a second mating pressing unit. The first mating pressing unit forms a first press nip with the central roll, and the second mating pressing unit forms a second press nip with the central roll. The central roll has a plurality of pressure sensors embedded in the central roll and arranged beside one another in the cross-machine direction, by way of which the pressure profile in the cross-machine direction can be determined in the first and in the second press nip. There is also disclosed a method for operating such a press arrangement.

Press arrangement

A roll for a machine for producing and/or processing a fibrous web, such as a paper, board or tissue web, has a circular-cylindrical main roll body. A roll cover covers the circumferential surface of the main roll body, at least in some segments. A pressure- and/or temperature-sensitive sensor is embedded in the roll cover. The sensor connects to an electrical and/or optical signal line. The signal line has a first line segment inside the roll. A second line segment extends substantially outside the roll and is connectable to a signal excitation and/or signal processing unit at one end. An electrical and/or optical rotational connection connects the first and second line segments to allow the line segments to be rotated relative to one another. When the roll is rotated, the first line segment rotates together with the main roll body. The second line segment does not have to follow the rotation.

Sensor roll

A roll for a machine for processing a material web, in particular a paper, cardboard, or tissue machine, has a cylindrical roll core and a roll cover which is arranged on the radially outer lateral face of the roll core. The roll cover has a functional layer and a connecting structure which lies radially between the roll core and the functional layer. The radially outer lateral face of the functional layer provides a contact surface which can be brought into contact with the material web or a covering. A plurality of pressure and/or temperature-sensitive sensors are embedded in the roll cover. The sensors are arranged in the connecting structure or at the interface between the connecting structure and the functional layer.

A fabric for a papermaking machine is configured as a belt, the two side edges of which are configured in each case as closed lines. Furthermore, the belt is formed in one layer from a solid material and has pores which form passages between the two surfaces of the belt. The belt has regions with a width of approximately 400 micrometers (&#x3bc;m) or less. These regions extend in the longitudinal direction over the entire circumference of the belt, transversely with respect to the side edges, and include no pores formed therein.

Perforated film clothing

A method of surface topography prognosis for a tissue paper which is to be produced in a manufacturing process by utilizing a structured fabric and into which a structure is embossed by way of the fabric, the surface topography of at least one structured fabric which is already used in the production process is plotted by way of a sensor. Originating from the surface topography of the already utilized structured fabric, the surface topography of the tissue paper is simulated through data processing, through a simulation of the paper production process. The algorithm used for the simulation is calibrated with the aid of a comparison of the simulated surface topography of the tissue paper with the surface topography of the actual tissue paper produced with the structured fabric, which is already being utilized in the production process. Originating from the surface topography of a respective additional structured fabric the simulation of the surface topography of the tissue paper is subsequently conducted by utilizing the calibrated algorithm in order to provide a prognosis of the tissue paper's surface topography that can be expected.

The invention relates to a felt belt, especially a press felt for a paper&#x2014;, cardboard or tissue machine, with a basic structure that is formed by (a) a longitudinal reinforcement module extending on the width and length of the felt belt, including (1) a laid longitudinal thread structure on the width and the length of the felt belt which is formed by at least one longitudinal thread extending essentially in longitudinal direction of the belt, and (2) one carrying layer which is bonded with the laid longitudinal thread structure and extends on the width and the length of the felt belt, as well as (b) one cross reinforcement module which has the same length and width as the felt belt which is located on and bonded with the longitudinal reinforcement module which is formed by a plurality of cross reinforcement module segments, each of which extend on the width of the felt belt, and only on part of the length of the felt belt and which are arranged in tandem in longitudinal direction of the felt belt and which together complete the length of the felt belt, whereby each cross reinforcement segment includes a group of first threads and a group of second threads, whereby the first and the second threads cross each other at thread crossing points and together form a textile surface structure.
