A high-pressure discharge lamp comprising a lamp base (), a discharge vessel, and components of an ignition device for igniting the gas discharge in the discharge vessel of the high-pressure discharge lamp (), wherein the lamp base () comprises an interior in which the components of the ignition device are disposed, wherein at least the high-voltage components () of the ignition device form an assembly () disposed in the interior of the lamp base and having a dedicated housing ().

The invention relates to a lamp base (), in particular a lamp base for a vehicle lamp, the lamp base having a plastic base part () with at least one molded stub (), wherein the plastics material of the plastic base part is mixed with reinforcing fibers (), the orientation of which in the stub has a preferential direction. This allows the mechanical load-bearing capacity of the stubs to be advantageously increased.

The invention relates to a vehicle lamp having a lamp base, which is equipped with the electrical connections of the vehicle lamp, the lamp base () having a plastic base part () which has at least one integrally formed stud (), which serves the purpose of mounting the vehicle lamp in the vehicle headlight and which is provided with reinforcing means () in order to increase its mechanical robustness.
