A safety belt arrangement for a motor vehicle. The arrangement includes a belt deflection device. The belt deflection device is arranged above the shoulder of the passenger to be held by the safety belt. The belt deflection device is mounted to a carrier attached to the vehicle body. The belt deflection device includes an upper reversal member, which deflects the belt downwards, and a deflection member arranged below the reversal member. The deflection member being vertically adjustably secured to a rail mounted to the carrier. The deflection member deflects the belt from an at least substantially vertical direction to a direction toward the shoulder of the passenger which deviates significantly from the vertical.

A holder (10) for a belt lock (12) of a safety belt comprises a plurality of leaves which are connected together, whereby a relative movement is possible between the belt lock and the seat structure.

A belt lock for a safety belt has a frame (10), a latching element (14) for the latching of the belt tongue (18) and a securing element (16), which secures the latching element (14) in the latched state. Furthermore, a detector device (24, 26, 28) is provided at the belt lock which detects the position of the securing element (16).

A device for the automatic and vertically adjustable mounting of the upper attachment fitting or deflection fitting for a safety belt in a motor vehicle, the device comprising a substantially vertically arranged rail (1) having lateral latch recesses (4), a slide member (7) which is displaceably guided along the rail and in which a pawl (8) having a laterally protecting latch nose (10) is pivotally mounted about an axis (I) perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the rail for movement between a latched position and an unlatched position, an adjustment element (19) which acts on the pawl (8) in the one direction of displacement and is controlled in dependence on the seat position of the associated vehicle seat, and with a bearing (12) for the deflection fitting moveable with the sliding member, with the bearing acting on the pawl (8) in such a way that the pawl (8) is pivoted into its latched position when the bearing (12) is loaded by the belt, wherein, in order to increase the operational reliability and also to simplify the construction and to reduce the manufacturing costs, a resetting element (23) is provided which acts on the pawl (8) in the other direction of displacement and wherein the adjustment element (19) and the resetting element (23) act on the pawl (8) at two points (17, 24) arranged on the same side of the pivot axis (I).

A spring-driven reeler for safety belts in motor vehicles has a belt reel which is acted on with a winding-up force of defined size via a first conical thread reel, a thread and a second thread reel by means of a spring arrangement. Measures are provided in order to maintain the safety of the belted-up vehicle occupants as far as possible on thread breakage.

A spring-driven reeling mechanism for safety belts 17 in motor vehicles has a belt reel 11 which is rotationally fixedly connected to a first draw reel 12 with a spiral-shaped guide groove 15. A flexible draw member 13 is wound into the guide groove 15 and extends to a second draw reel 14 with a spiral-shaped guide groove 18. The two draw reels 12, 14 taper in opposite axial directions. The draw reel 14 is acted on by a spiral spring 16 in a direction of rotation such that the safety belt 17 is wound onto the belt reel 11. The spiral spring 16 is accommodated in a hollow cavity 21 of the second draw reel 14.

Tension reducer

A buckle includes a base frame 10, a latch plate 30, a locking wing 40 and an ejector 20. The base frame 10 is formed with a tongue insertion path 12 through which a tongue plate 2 is inserted. The latch plate 30 is pivotally supported on an upper surface of the base frame 10, having a latch pawl 33 formed at a front end and an operational arm 32 formed at a rear end, which is applied with pivoting force by the end of the tongue plate 2 when the tongue plate 2 is inserted. The locking wing 40 is structured to maintain the locked state by biasing force of a locking spring 37 between the locking wing 40 and the latch plate 30 and by an engagement between the locking wing 40 and locking pawl 33. The locking wing 40 is also structured to release the engagement between the locking wing 40 and the locking pawl 33 by a movement of a press button 52. The ejector 20 is supported slidably in the tongue insertion path 12 and biased by an ejector spring 21. By the biasing force of the ejector spring 21, the tongue plate 2 is released.
