A method for operating a plant to produce tablets that has at least one rotary press and one computer system, wherein the computer system contains operating and control software for controlling and monitoring the operation of the rotary press, and wherein the rotary press is designed for installing different types of rotors, wherein a record adapted to the respective rotor type is saved in a memory and communication component on the rotors, and before the rotor type is initially operated, the record is read out and is saved in the computer system to automatically adapt the operating and control software and user interface to the rotor type.

Method for operating a plant for producing tablets

Device for calibrating and balancing a measuring device of a tablet press, in particular a rotary tablet press, comprising at least one reference measuring device and at least one control device, wherein interfaces of the control device are connected with interfaces of the measuring device and the reference measuring device, wherein the control device is designed to generate a plurality of reference measurement results and to record the associated measurement values of the measuring device and the reference measuring device, wherein the control device further comprises a comparing device, with which the recorded measurement values of the measuring device and the reference measuring device can be compared with each other, and wherein the control device is designed to balance the measuring device if an impermissible deviation is present between the compared measurement values. The invention also relates to a corresponding method.

A visual monitoring device for rotary presses, in which a rotor, with upper and lower punches and a die plate, at least one compression station, at least one filling station, and at least one ejector station are arranged in a housing, at which individual process steps occur, characterized in that arranged in the housing is at least one high speed camera, whose lens is directed onto a location in the housing, and to which an image analysis device is connected.
