An apparatus for parameterizing a plant includes a recorder for recording a three-dimensional data set of the plant including not only volume elements of non-covered elements of the plant, but also volume elements of elements of the plants that are covered by other elements, and a parameterizer for parameterizing the three-dimensional data set for obtaining plant parameters.

A camera arrangement for image detection includes radiation-sensitive sensor elements arranged to record a common object plane in offset fields of view, a balancer and a shading corrector. The balancer is implemented, for balancing the sensor elements, to post-process for each sensor element a sensor signal of the respective sensor signal n by means of balancing information determined in balancing and stored, so that a variation of the intensity I of incoming radiation in the respective field of view leads to a change of the respective post-processed sensor signal according to a desired mapping function F(aI), the mapping functions F( ) of all factory-balanced sensor elements being identical, and abeing a sensor-individual factor. The shading corrector is implemented on the basis of a recording generated by means of the camera arrangement with the sensor elements, to change the sensor element-individual factors aso that intensity differences of the recording are balanced across the common object plane.

An apparatus provides an image on the basis of a plurality of input images. The apparatus includes a first stage having at least a first and a second combiner, each of the combiners including a first storer for storing image data of the input images, a first processor for processing the image data of the input images into an intermediate image, and a second storer for storing image data of the intermediate image. The apparatus further includes a second stage having at least one further combiner, the further combiner including a third storer for storing image data of those intermediate images which are stored in the second storer of the first stage, a second processor for processing the image data from the third storer, so as to combine the image data of the intermediate images into the image, and a fourth storer for storing image data of the image.

In order to detect an image generated by an image source, a mirror arrangement is arranged between the image source and a detector. The mirror arrangement includes two spaced-apart deflection mirrors, which are parallel to each other or form an acute angle of less than 90&#xb0; between them. In particular when the image source is a scintillator layer, shielding of X-rays from the detector with simultaneous compact dimensioning of the apparatus is achieved in this manner.
