An air filter has a filter housing having a raw air inlet and further has a filter element arranged in the filter housing. The filter element has a filter medium body and an end disk with a central primary air passage and a secondary air passage. The filter medium body annularly surrounds a longitudinal axis of the filter element and separates a raw side in the filter housing from a clean side inside the filter element. The filter housing has a primary air outlet communicating through the primary air passage with the clean side of the filter element. The filter housing has a secondary air outlet communicating through the secondary air passage with the clean side of the filter element. The secondary air outlet communicates with the secondary air passage through a channel arranged at the filter element, wherein the channel surrounds the primary air passage annularly and coaxially.

A filter element has a filter medium folded in a star shape that surrounds annularly a longitudinal axis of the filter element and is flowed through radially from exterior to interior. The filter element has a primary air passage and a secondary air passage. In the filter medium, a cutout is formed that penetrates a plurality of folds of the filter medium. A passage socket at which the secondary air passage is formed extends through the cutout. An air filter provided with a filter housing having a raw air inlet, a primary air outlet, and a secondary air outlet, has such a filter element that separates in the filter housing a raw side communicating with the raw air inlet from a clean side. The primary air outlet communicates through the primary air passage and the secondary air outlet through the secondary air passage with the clean side, respectively.

A plate-type filter element for gas filtration has a filter medium body with a circumferentially extending seal that contacts seal-tightly a first sealing surface of a filter housing extending in a filter element plane of the filter element. A sealing bracket is connected to the seal and contacts seal-tightly a second sealing surface of the filter housing extending at least partially outside of the filter element plane. A filter device has a filter housing with first and second sealing surfaces. A plate-type filter element is mountable exchangeably in the filter housing. The filter element has a filter medium body, a circumferentially extending seal, and a sealing bracket connected to the seal. The first sealing surface extends in the filter element plane; the second sealing surface extends partially outside of the filter element plane. The seal contacts seal-tightly the first sealing surface; the sealing bracket seal-tightly contacts the second sealing surface.

Plate-type filter element for gas filtration

A filter element for a filter device for gas filtration has at least two individual filters which are disposed adjacent to each other and through which the gas to be purified can flow orthogonally to the filter plane. On at least two sides, the individual filters delimit a gas collection chamber that is open on the edge side and that is fluidically connected to the clean sides of the individual filters and used to accommodate the purified gas.

A filter device with filter housing and housing cover has a filter element disposed therein. A first holding part on the filter element projects past an outer wall surface of the filter element. A second holding part in the form of a counter holding part on the housing cover interacts with the first holding part. The first and second holding parts engage each other in a mounted state of the filter element. A first form-fit part is arranged on the filter element axially spaced from the first holding part and is associated with a second form-fit part in the form of a counter form-fit part. The first form-fit part and the first holding part, by rotational movement of the filter element about a longitudinal axis of the filter element, are each transferable into a form-fit engaged state with the counter holding part and the counter form-fit part, respectively.
