An optoelectronic sensor for the detection of objects in a monitored zone is provided that has a light transmitter for transmitting transmitted light of a wavelength range, a light receiver for generating a received signal from the transmitted light remitted at the objects, a reception optics arranged upstream of the light receiver and having an optical filter adapted to the wavelength range for the suppression of extraneous light that is arranged in the reception beam path where the remitted transmitted light forms parallel bundles of beams, and a control and evaluation unit that is configured to detect information on the objects from the received signal. The reception optics here is optimized for an annular image field having an image field angle α and the filter is optimized to a non-perpendicular angle of incidence of the remitted transmitted light corresponding to the image field angle α.

Optoelectronic sensor and method of detecting objects

An optoelectronic sensor is provided that has at least one light transmitter for transmitting a plurality of mutually separated light beams starting from a respective one transmission point; a transmission optics for the transmitted light beams; at least one light receiver for generating a respective received signal from the remitted light beams reflected from the objects and incident at a respective reception point; a reception optics for the remitted light beams; and an evaluation unit for acquiring information on the objects from the received signals. The reception optics and/or the transmission optics is/are a two-lens objective for an annular image field with an image field angle that has a first lens and a second lens, with the first lens being configured such that bundles of rays of every single transmission point and/or reception point with an image field angle &#x3b1; only impinge on half of the second lens.

Optoelectronic sensor and method for detecting objects

An optoelectronic sensor for the detection and distance determination of objects in a monitoring area is provided having a light transmitter for transmitting a plurality of light pulses, a rotatable deflecting unit, an angle detector, a light receiver, and an evaluation unit which is configured to collect a plurality of reception pulses in a time histogram to determine the light time of flight from the sensor to an object. The evaluation unit is configured to select a respective group of reception pulses that is collected in a histogram based on the angular position signal and to assign the measured value for the object distance determined from the histogram of the group to a detection angle identified by the angular position signal.
