A gas metering valve for an internal combustion engine. The gas metering valve includes a housing in which a gas chamber is formed, which includes an inlet opening and an outlet opening. A movable valve element is situated in the gas chamber, which is movable by an electrical actuator against the force of a return spring and which cooperates with a valve seat for opening and closing the inlet opening. A blocking valve is situated between the valve element and the outlet opening, which opens in the flow direction to the outlet opening and blocks in the opposite flow direction.

A method for detecting correct connection of at least one energy reservoir to a vehicle electrical system of a motor vehicle. A device for transporting a fluid medium to a metering module for metering a liquid reducing agent into an exhaust gas system in order to reduce pollutants in an exhaust gas. The device has at least one heated transport line and at least one system component with a heated internal region. The transport line has a line connecting piece, and the system component has a module connecting piece that is directly or indirectly coupled to the line connecting piece. The device includes at least one heat conducting sleeve that can be inserted in the line connecting piece and the module connecting piece. The heat conducting sleeve is thermally coupled to the heated transport line and/or the heated internal region in order to transmit heat.

A metering valve is supplied with contents from a working tank by a delivery unit and dispenses the tank contents in a discharge direction. The delivery unit establishes a negative pressure between the delivery unit and the metering valve when the delivery direction is reversed. The negative pressure causes gas to be drawn off through the metering valve against the discharge direction. The delivery direction is reversed by either a feed pump with a reversible effective direction or a feed pump and a repolarization valve which communicates with the feed pump and transposes an inlet and an outlet of the feed pump.
