The invention relates to abasic body () for an electric motor (), which comprises the following features: a substantially cylindrical outer wall (), which forms a rotor space () for receiving a rotor () at least partially inside the outer wall () and on which a winding () can be mounted at least partially outside the latter; a laminated core () which is held by the outer wall (); a receiving space () which serves to receive a printed circuit board () or another component of the electric motor () and which adjoins the rotor space (); a partition wall () separating the receiving space () from the rotor space (); at least one orienting device () for positionally orienting the printed circuit board () or the other component of the electric motor () inside the receiving space (); a receptacle () for a cover () which closes the rotor space (), said receptacle being situated on the outer wall () on the side of the rotor space () opposite to the partition wall (); and an inner wall (), which adjoins the partition wall (), for receiving a bearing () for the rotor (), said inner wall, together with the outer wall (), creating the receiving space ().

Basic body for an electric motor

The present disclosure relates to an electric motor having a stator and a rotor. The rotor is fitted with permanent magnets which are surrounded by a rotor packet. A heat dissipating element is attached to the rotor packet. A gap seal is formed between an outer diameter of the heat dissipating element and an inner diameter of a component connected to the stator. In some examples, the component may be a coil body connected to the stator.

Electric motor

The invention relates to an apparatus for connecting a power cable to an electronic unit of a power tool having at least one clamp for clamping a connecting line of the power cable and a contact element for establishing an electrical contact between the connecting line and the electronic unit. The clamp and the contact element are arranged on a connecting element extending through an opening in a housing element, which spatially separates the clamp from the electronic unit. The opening is sealed by a seal bearing against the connecting element.

The present invention relates to a method for producing a stator which includes the steps of inserting a stator segment into a former; introducing a coil wire winding into a coil space of the stator segment, and out via a slot which is located in the region between two pole horns; cohesively connecting the turns of the coil at least partially, at least in parts of that region of the coil, which is located outside the slot; and removing the former.

Method for producing a stator for an electric motor

In a preferred embodiment, an angle grinder has a housing containing its electromotive drive, the housing having a free end from which an electric power cable extends, the free end having air intake openings via which cooling air is drawn into the housing. A filter assembly has a body and a filter medium supported by the body, the body being detachably attachable to the free end of the housing via, in some embodiments, latching projections. The body and the filter medium together form a projection-free outer face of the angle grinder when the filter assembly is attached to the free end of the housing. Air drawn into the air intake openings enters the filter assembly by way of the projection-free outer face and passes through the filter medium prior to being drawn into the air intake openings. The filter assembly may include a slotted opening through which the power cable extends.

A protective hood of portable electric power tools, and a portable electric power tool is described, and wherein a protective hood is provided and which can be selectively located relative to a rotating drive shaft, and wherein a clamping band is provided which mounts a screw that can be radially threadably advanced toward the rotating drive shaft and which further carries an anti-rotation locking element having claws which mechanically engage a machine neck thereby reliably and securely fastening the protective hood to the power tool.

An electric motor is disclosed and which includes a braking element which is biasingly urged into a braking relationship relative to the electric motor, when the electric motor is deenergized, but which is further moved out of braking engagement when the electric motor is energized. The invention finds particular usefulness when used on hand tools, such as angle grinders.
