A gearshift for a bicycle having an electric auxiliary drive including a stepped gear system which is embodied as a hub gear system or derailleur system, and an electromechanical actuator for triggering a gear change of the gear system. The electromechanical actuator has a shift control unit which can be or is connected via a data line to a drive control unit of the auxiliary electric drive, which shift control unit is designed to activate the actuator as a function of at least one state parameter transmitted to the shift control unit by the drive control unit, or as a function of an item of information derived from said state parameter.

The invention relates to a sensor arrangement on a rotary bearing which has a stationary bearing part and a rotatable bearing part. A primary coil is arranged on the stationary bearing part and is connected to a supply unit in a wired manner. A sensor circuit and a secondary coil supplying said circuit with electrical energy are fitted to the rotatable bearing part. According to the invention, the primary coil and the secondary coil are part of an energy transmission unit which is constructed according to the Qi standard. At least the operating energy for the sensor circuit, preferably also the data for communication between the sensor circuit and the supply unit, are transmitted via the inductive coupling between the primary coil and the secondary coil.

An automatic shifting device for a bicycle is disclosed. The device may include a shifting actuator to activate the gearshift mechanism, a computing unit connected to the shifting actuator, an operator control/display unit connected to the computing unit, an inclination angle sensor, and a velocity sensor. The operator control/display unit may receive a first input value of a gear speed of the gearshift mechanism for starting on a level underlying surface; a second input value of a velocity of the bicycle at which shifting into a maximum gear speed of the gearshift mechanism takes place on a level underlying surface; and a third input value of a velocity of the bicycle at which shifting into a maximum gear speed for this terrain inclination takes place on an underlying surface with a positive terrain inclination. An individualized shifting algorithm based on the input values may be stored in the computing unit.
