Methods and apparatus for assembling dispensing devices and/or for dispensing a medicament include a sealing element fixed in a receiving space of the dispensing device with a specific assembly parameter. The invention relates to a high-pressure chamber for preferably atomizing or injecting metered amounts of fluid, such as pharmaceutical preparations. The components of the high-pressure chamber determining the strength thereof are made of a sintered metal body having plastic regions directly attached thereto. The plastic regions allow corrosion resistance and material compatibility of the interior of the high-pressure chamber and fluids placed under pressure therein. The shape of the sintered metal body provides the entire system with the rigidity required for high-pressure operation and with directly molded connection elements prescribing the type of connection to other components. The components of the high-pressure chamber determining the strength thereof are thereby deformed or crimped to each other, so that inexpensive and quick overall assembly processes are available.

High-pressure chamber

A fluidic component is arranged in an elastomeric shaped part the contour of which is matched to the outer contour of the component and to the inner contour of a holder. The elastomeric shaped part is chamfered towards the fluidic component on its pressure side. When the holder is assembled the elastomeric shaped part is deformed by a projection provided on a mating part and is put under uniformly distributed internal tension, after which the elastomeric shaped part surrounds the fluidic component to its full height.

Device for clamping a fluidic component

A reservoir and a nebulizer having such a reservoir are proposed. The reservoir comprises a closure for a fluid chamber with a medicament formulation that is formed by two closure members welded together. The closure comprises a particle barrier for preventing the ingress into the fluid chamber of any weld particles that may potentially be formed during the welding of the two closure members. The fluid chamber is preferably broadened in the shape of a beaver tail and is sealed lengthways with an additional strip of material.

To achieve an enhanced dosing accuracy, a first component that is produced in batches, such as a shaped seal, is combined with a second component, such as a guide pipe selected from a suitable group guide pipes, wherein the suitable group of second components is selected based on at least one decisively significant value of the respective batch first components and is distinguished by an essential value of the second component which will optimize the sealing between the first and second components.

Process and device for dosing pharmaceutical agents

A nebuliser and a container in each case with an aeration device are proposed, the aeration device being designed for the direct aeration of a liquid space in the container. The container comprises a rigid, gas-tight outer case and a closure, which is opened by connecting or inserting a delivery element. A long storage life and long service life with low loss of fluid or solvent are thereby provided in the form of a simple and inexpensive construction.

Nebuliser and container

A microstructured nozzle consists of a number of channels produced by microstructuring a plate-shaped member. In the nozzle the channels are located between projections which are arranged side by side in rows and project from a base plate. This microstructured base plate is covered with a cover plate. The channels are narrowly defined in terms of shape, cross sectional area and length. The nozzle contains a filter as the primary structure and a secondary structure downstream of the filter. The nozzle is used, for example, with an atomiser which produces an aerosol from a fluid containing a medicament.
