A rotor () for an electrical axial flux machine () that can be operated as a motor and/or generator. The rotor includes a support (), a plurality of magnet elements () arranged against, on, or in the support () and running radially from the interior outwards, the magnet elements () being magnetized in a circumferential direction and being arranged individually or in groups in series around the circumference with alternating opposing magnetization directions, and a plurality of flux conduction elements () which conduct the magnetic flux and are arranged against, on, or in the support () and around the circumference, between the magnet elements (). A flux distributing element () which distributes the magnetic flux is arranged between at least one of the magnet elements () and a flux conduction element () that is arranged adjacently thereto in the circumferential direction.

An electric machine having a stator and a rotor is divided into sub-machine systems by winding sections of the stator or rotor that can be switched separately for each phase. A winding section of each phase is assigned to each sub-machine system. Each sub-machine system acts as an electric machine. The sub-machine systems can be operated individually or in combination, depending on the requirements placed on the electric machine; the winding sections are correspondingly switched for this purpose. The switching between the winding sections is advantageously carried out mechanically with a contact disc.

An internal rotor for an electric machine includes a rotational axis, an outer circumferential face which delimits the internal rotor, a pole arrangement comprising a centroid, and an actuating mechanism for moving the pole arrangement towards the rotational axis or away from the rotational axis to set a first spacing between the outer circumferential face and the centroid. In an example embodiment, the actuating mechanism has an actuator for moving the pole arrangement. The actuator has a hydraulically operable piston, a pneumatically operable piston, an electric motor actuator, or converts an axial force to a radial force. In an example embodiment, the actuating mechanism is operatively connected to the pole arrangement. The actuating mechanism is arranged between the rotational axis and the pole arrangement, or the actuating mechanism is arranged between the outer circumferential face and the pole arrangement.

A thermal management system for an electric drive system, preferably for a vehicle, includes an electric drive including an electric motor and power electronics. The electric motor and the power electronics are integrated in a cooling circuit and are cooled by a coolant circulating in the cooling circuit. The coolant is circulated by a coolant pump. In the case of a variable thermal management system, the electric motor and the power electronics are in spatial contact with respective cooling units. The cooling units of the electric motor and of the power electronics are arranged parallel to each other and an electrically controlled coolant distributor is positioned between the coolant pump and the cooling units which coolant distributor has two outlets. One outlet leads to the cooling unit of the electric motor and one outlet leads to the cooling unit of the power electronics and the outlets of the cooling units are merged into a channel and led back to the coolant pump.

Hybrid drivetrain having active torsional vibration damping, and method for carrying out the active torsional damping

A hydrostatic actuator and an arrangement for attaching it to a receiving component are provided. The hydrostatic actuator has a master cylinder containing a housing and a piston movable axially within the housing which acts on a pressure chamber filled with a pressurizing agent. The piston is driven by a rotary-driven electric motor having a stator and a rotor, by a rolling planetary transmission that converts the rotary drive to an axial motion. In order to be able to produce such a hydrostatic actuator with little need for construction space, cost-effectively and with better quality, a supporting of the rolling planetary transmission is simplified, and the cooling and shielding of an electronic controller and the pressure behavior of the hydrostatic actuator is improved.

A reluctance motor having a rotor and a stator that has a wound core, around which a stator coil is wound and which is open on one side and has legs, said legs being arranged around the periphery and forming spaced-apart pairs of legs. Multiple rotor teeth which are distributed around the periphery and periodically establish a magnetic flux between the legs radially engage between the legs. In order to positively change the characteristic curve of the magnetic flux of the legs and teeth, the teeth continuously form an area overlap with the legs in the direction of rotation of the rotor in accordance with the angle of rotation.

Hydrostatic clutch actuator

A clutch actuator and to a method for the control thereof. The actuator actuates a multi-disk clutch, and to do so has actuator modules. The number of which corresponds to the number of the friction clutches. The modules have separate control units and electric motors, which are controlled by the control units and act on the friction clutches by a disengaging mechanism. In order to counter block the partial drive trains disposed downstream of the friction clutches, particularly automatically closed friction clutches during a malfunction of an actuator module, the actuator modules are connected among each other to a data line, which allows monitoring of the actuator modules and counter-measures.

A method is provided for producing a tight, form-fitting connection between a housing cover and a housing body, wherein the housing cover has cover tabs protruding from an edge thereof, and an edge area of the housing body has recesses for respectively receiving the cover tabs. The method involves positioning the housing cover on the housing body and deforming the cover tabs in the housing recesses to produce the tight, form-fitting connection in a single operation with a single tool.
