The invention relates to a zoom objective lens with continuously adjustable magnification, comprising five lens groups, where the first lens group, the second lens group and the fifth lens group are fixed in relation to an object. An illuminating system for transmitted-light microscopes has a illuminator unit seated on a bracket. A condenser is mounted on the bracket by way of a condenser holder and is rotatable with respect to the bracket. The condenser has an integrated modulator slider that slidably extends through the condenser. The bracket has an upright portion with a window through which the modulator slider may be fed in the direction facing away from the operator. the bracket may be provided with a stand mount.

Arrangement for adjusting illumination devices in transmitted-light microscopes

The invention relates to an inverted microscope, including a microscope stand having a stand housing. The stand housing has a rear wall, a front wall, and side walls, and an objective turret, a focusing drive, and a rotatable retaining device, which is designed as a reflector turret and which has a plurality of locations for receiving exchangeable optical components. The retaining device protrudes from a side wall of the stand housing so that the optical components can be quickly changed without having to remove the retaining device from the stand housing.

Method and apparatus for the adjustment and automatic readjustment of the lamp in a microscope. The present invention is used for adjusting the lamp in a microscope. In the solution according to the invention, the tilting direction of the glass body relative to the lamp cap is marked at the lamp. The lamp cap is likewise marked for oriented insertion of the marked lamp so that the tilting direction of the lamp lies in direction of the optical axis of the collector after insertion. For adjusting, the collector-reflector unit is displaced in direction of the optical axis of the collector and the lamp cap is then oriented in vertical direction of the optical axis of the collector. For automatic readjustment, the lamp cap has an actuating drive. A reference variable is determined for the actuating drive by a control unit by evaluating lamp voltage or lamp current. The proposed solution can be applied in all devices in which an ultra-high pressure gas discharge lamp is to be moved into and/or maintained in a focus position.

The invention is directed to a device for coupling light into the beam path of a microscope. Laser light is directed to the preparation in the field diaphragm plane through an in-coupling light-conducting fiber constructed as a slide. The invention is particularly suitable for the TIRF method.
