A process for the electrochemical production of peroxo-disulfuric acid and peroxo-disulfates is provided. In the process, an anode having a partially pre-polarized electrode which has been provided with a doped diamond layer is used.

Electrochemical production of peroxopyrosulphuric acid using diamond coated electrodes

The invention relates to an x-ray anode and a process for its manufacture. The x-ray anode is characterized in that the anode material is embodied as a layer on a diamond window. The x-ray anode is preferably used with x-ray units which require as selective as possible x-radiation production to achieve as high as possible radiation intensity. Use in x-ray microscopes in which a high radiation intensity guarantees the highest resolutions is particularly preferred.

X-ray anode and process for its manufacture

An instrument for surgical purposes, especially for coagulation, is proposed. This instrument has at least one arm, the tips of the arms having electrical contact regions which can be electrically connected to a control unit for touching a tissue for the purpose of coagulation. The contact regions are formed from doped diamond to produce the electrical conductivity.
