A composite package, in particular a beverage carton package for liquid foodstuffs is depicted and described which consists at least partially of a package laminate, having a package base body including package edges, an at least partially angular package base and package gable wherein the package base body defines, in an idealised manner, a package front side, package rear side and at least two lateral package sides attaching to the package rear side as well as a package laminate and a package sleeve blank for manufacturing such a composite package. In order to improve grip and ergonomy for an easy to manufacture package, provision is made for the package front side to have a positive arching at least in sections which in each case passes into a lateral package side for a grip panel to be formed at least in sections in the region of the package rear side.

Provided is a package sleeve made of a composite material for the manufacture of a package, including: a front surface, a rear surface, two side surfaces, base surfaces and gable surfaces which are arranged on opposite sides of the two side surfaces, the front surface and the rear surface, and a longitudinal seam which connects two edges of the composite material to form a package sleeve. The package sleeve has several fold lines. The two side surfaces have a secondary fold line running therethrough. The package sleeve is folded along both secondary fold lines. The package sleeve is open both in the region of the base surfaces and in the region of the gable surfaces. Also provided are a package and a method for manufacturing a package.

The invention relates to a method for forming package bodies open at one end from package sleeves open at both ends for the manufacture of filled packages. In order to allow packages with a cross section which is neither square nor rectangular to be formed more simply and reliably, the package sleeves are kept ready for further processing in a stack, folded flat along at least two folded edges running in the longitudinal direction of the package sleeve, the flat-folded package sleeves are transferred in succession from the stack to a forming station, the package sleeves are unfolded in a forming station and the unfolded package sleeves are, in the forming station, pushed onto a mandrel in order to close, in particular seal, a longitudinal end of the package sleeve.

Beverage carton

A carton sleeve of a composite material for producing a carton is illustrated and described, including: a sleeve area, a longitudinal seam that joins two edges of the composite material to form an all-round carton sleeve, and two pseudo fold lines that pass through the sleeve area, wherein the carton sleeve is folded along both pseudo fold lines. In order to allow the production of cartons with a more complex geometry, it is envisaged that the carton sleeve in the region of the sleeve area has no further or no continuous fold lines apart from the two pseudo fold lines. In addition a carton of such a carton sleeve as well as a method for producing a carton from such a carton sleeve are illustrated and described.

Container for beverages or food

A method for applying a reclosable pouring element comprising a pouring opening and a flange and having a removable cap, to a container having an opening. The method comprising the steps of connecting the pouring element to a lid of the container having an opening by affixing the flange of the pouring element to the lid in a liquid-tight fashion. Sealing a section of a closure film on the pouring element so that the pouring opening of the pouring element still remains open. Connecting the lid to the container body in a liquid-tight fashion. Sterilizing an interior of the container. Filing the container with a product through the pouring opening. Closing the container by sealing the closure film onto the pouring element in such a fashion that the pouring opening of the pouring element is closed in a liquid-tight fashion and applying the cap to the pouring element.

Proposed for a square flat gable composite packing are a resealable spout element () and the manufacture of a flat gable composite packing with such a spout element () that eliminate the disadvantage of known spout elements, namely that such packings can no longer be opened once the sealed-on opening aids for initially opening the packing lose their non-positive bond with the packing during transport or as the result of inadequate proposed, with a cap (), in which an opening element () sealing. Methods for producing a composite packing and a composite packing produced according to said method

A reclosable pouring element with a base member and a closure lid which serves at the same time as the opening device. A flange surrounding the opening surface of the pouring element is fixedly connected to a flat gable top composite packaging. The closure lid has lateral bearing pins which are supported in corresponding recesses of the base member, in which a safe connection between the base member and the closure lid and a reliable opening/closing function of the flat gable top composite packaging is provided. The recesses in the base member are arranged on the package side so that the closure lid can be clamped from the package side into the recesses for receiving the bearing pins provided in the base member.
