A holding system for a wheelchair in an aircraft is proposed, including a plate-shaped base unit having first fastening elements at an underside configured to be connected to complementarily shaped second fastening elements in the form of seat rails on a floor or surrounding structure in the aircraft for fastening the base unit, a front holding unit and a rear holding unit arranged on an upper side of the base unit at a distance from each other and defining therebetween a placement area for a wheelchair. The front holding unit and the rear holding unit are configured to form a releasable form-fit connection with the wheelchair disposed on the placement area so that the wheelchair is braced between the front holding unit and the rear holding unit. The holding system is configured to fix the wheelchair stationarily to the floor during operation of the aircraft.

A separating device for separating two zones of a passenger cabin equipped with overhead luggage bins comprising a movable shell comprising a curtain element made of a flexible material and being dimensioned and shaped so as to be capable of at least partially covering an area extending below an overhead luggage bin with its movable shell being in its closed position in a direction substantially perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of the overhead luggage bin. The curtain element has a first edge adapted to face the movable shell of the overhead luggage bin when the separating device is mounted in the passenger cabin. The separating device further comprises a holder supporting a first end of the first edge of the curtain element and a fixing device adapted to fix a second end of the first edge of the curtain element to the movable shell of the overhead luggage bin.

An aircraft luggage system comprising a luggage compartment which comprises an upper side directed towards a ceiling of an aircraft when the luggage compartment is assembled in the aircraft, a lower side directed towards a floor of the aircraft, a rear side directed towards an outer contour of the aircraft, and two side faces connect the upper side to the lower side. The lower side of the luggage compartment is rigidly connected to the side faces and the rear side of the luggage compartment. A flap, movable between a closed position and an open position, is configured to make an inner space of the luggage compartment accessible or to close it. At least one additional luggage compartment is arranged adjacent to at least one of the upper side and the lower side of the luggage compartment.

An aircraft interior door assembly () for selectively increasing usable space within an aircraft lavatory () adjacent a passenger doorway area () of the aircraft or in the passenger doorway area () adjacent the lavatory () comprises a door element () and a door element supporting structure (). The door element () is rotatably mounted to the door element supporting structure () so as to be at least rotatable between first and second closed positions relative to the door element supporting structure (). The door element () has the same configuration in both of its closed positions. A door rotation space which is encompassed by the door element () when positioned in its first and second closed positions or rotated through by the door element () when rotated between its first and second closed positions is part of the aircraft lavatory interior space, when the door element () is in its first closed position, and is part of the passenger doorway area (), when the door element () is in its second closed position.

A flight attendant seat comprises a carrier device having a first surface, a seat element movably coupled to the carrier device, and a backrest element movably coupled to the carrier device and operatively coupled to the seat element. The seat is movable between an operative position, permitting the use of the seat by a flight attendant, and an inoperative position in which the seat element and the backrest element are positioned, relative to the carrier device, such that they do not protrude from the carrier device first surface. The seat may be positioned in such a way, relative to a passenger seat or a row of passenger seats, that the rear side of the backrest element faces towards the rear side of a backrest of the passenger seat or the rear side of a backrest of at least one passenger seat belonging to the row of passenger seats.

An actuation device for opening an emergency exit flap of a cockpit door is provided. The actuation device comprises a support structure, at least two securing elements, an actuation element and a deflection mechanism. The support structure is configured so as to be fastened to the emergency exit flap. The securing elements are integrated into the support structure and are configured so as to fasten the actuation device, and thus the emergency exit flap, to the cockpit door. The actuation element is connected to the support structure. Therein, the deflection mechanism connects the securing elements to the actuation element in such a way that a force which is exerted on the actuation element is diverted in such a way that the securing elements are released from the cockpit door.

A luggage system includes a luggage compartment having a base body and a flap which is movable between a closed position and an open position and is configured to make accessible or close an interior space of the base body. The flap includes a first flap element facing the interior space of the base body and a second flap element facing away from the interior space of the base body, wherein an installation space for components which are to be installed in the region of the luggage compartment is provided between the first and the second flap element.

A security door comprises a frame structure, having a lateral surface in which a plurality of doorways are constructed. A first doorway has a first width along an inner circumference of the frame structure, and lateral surface portions delimiting the first doorway in a first direction and a second direction, opposing the first direction, along the inner circumference of the frame structure have a second width. A lock element is received in the frame structure and comprises a first segment, movable along the frame structure inner circumference relative to the frame structure, and a second segment, movable independently of the first segment along the inner circumference relative to the frame structure. The first segment is dimensioned so that, in a position in which it closes the first doorway, it also closes a second doorway adjacent to the first doorway in the first direction along the frame structure inner circumference.

Security door and security area

A door assembly for a vehicle with two door leaves is stated. In each case the door leaves can be opened in such a manner that the maximum angle of opening between them can be limited. After a door leaf has been opened, the door leaves can thus only be pivoted together so that opening the first door leaf results in closing the second door leaf. As a result of this, access to a space in a vehicle may be controlled.
