A driving device, comprising a hand-held housing with a piston element arranged therein for the transmission of energy to a fastening element to be driven in a driving direction, a propellant charge, and a combustion chamber, which is arranged between the propellant charge and the piston element and extends around a central axis, and an actuator, by which the energy to be transmitted from the propellant charge to the piston element can be varied in such a way that the energy can be set, wherein a venting channel connected to the combustion chamber can be exposed by means of a movable slide of the actuator, wherein the venting channel opens out into the combustion chamber by a vent opening, which can be partially or completely covered by the slide, and wherein a cross-sectional area of the vent opening increases in the driving direction.

A driving device, comprising a hand-held housing with a piston element arranged therein for transmission of energy to a fastening element to be driven in a driving direction, a propellant charge, and a combustion chamber, which is arranged between the propellant charge and the piston element and extends around a central axis, and an actuator, by which energy to be transmitted from the propellant charge to the piston element can be varied in such that the energy can be set, wherein the combustion chamber has an internal thread and a cylindrical guiding portion, wherein the actuator is arranged in the combustion chamber and has an external thread in engagement with the internal thread and a bearing for mounting the actuator in the guiding portion, wherein a thread gap spacing between the external and internal threads is greater than a bearing gap spacing between the bearing and the guiding portion.

A tool device comprises a first module and a second module that can be detached from the first module, the first module having a receptacle and the second module having an insertion part that can be inserted in the receptacle along an insertion axis. The insertion part can be rotated in the receptacle about the insertion axis between a locked position and an enabled position, the receptacle having a first projection and the insertion part having a second projection. In the locked position, the second projection engages behind the first projection in the direction of the insertion axis, and in the enabled position, the first projection enables the second projection to pass in the direction of the insertion axis, the receptacle preventing an activation of the tool device in an initial position and allowing activation of the tool device in a pressed-on position.

The invention relates to a drive-in device, comprising a hand-held housing having a piston element received therein for transmitting energy onto a fastening element to be driven in, an exchangeable propellant charge, a combustion chamber, arranged between the propellant charge and the piston element and extending about a center axis (A), and a control element by means of which a starting position of the piston element can be set to be modified in order to modify the energy transmitted by the propellant charge onto the piston element, the control element having an operating element that can be pivoted about the center axis (A).

The invention relates to a driving device comprising a hand-held housing in which there is accommodated a piston member for transmitting energy to a fastening element to be driven in, an interchangeable propellant and a combustion chamber arranged between the propellant and the piston member, said combustion chamber extending preferably about a central axis (A), and an actuator by means of which the energy that is transmissible from the propellant to the piston member is variable in a settable manner, wherein a discharge channel connected to the combustion chamber can be opened by means of a movable slide of the actuator, wherein a starting position of the piston member is variable in a settable manner by means of a second actuator.

According to one aspect of the application, a device for driving a fastening element into a substrate has an energy-transfer element for transferring energy to the fastening element. The energy-transfer element can move preferably between a starting position and a setting position, wherein the energy-transfer element is located, before a driving-in procedure, in the starting position and, after the driving-in procedure, in the setting position. According to another aspect of the application, the device comprises a mechanical-energy storage device for storing mechanical energy. The energy-transfer element is then suitable preferably for transferring energy from the mechanical-energy storage device to the fastening element.
