An electrical service device having a housing is disclosed, in which voltage-carrying components are accommodated which are accessible via openings in the housing of the service device. At least one opening can have at least one wall-like insulating barrier associated with it which consists of an electrically insulating material and with which it is possible for the air gaps and leakage paths between two adjacent openings to be increased. The insulating barrier can be fixed to the housing of the service device.

An installation switch has an insulating housing and a terminal connecting arrangement for clamping a connecting conductor having an annular terminal shoe. The terminal connecting arrangement includes a terminal socket having an interior disposed between an insertion opening for receiving the terminal shoe and an access opening and a terminal screw having a screw head and a screw shank disposed in the interior of the terminal socket, the screw being actuatable in a longitudinal direction within the interior of the terminal socket between an open state and a clamped state. The arrangement further includes a connection plate having a screw hole with interior threads for threadably engaging the terminal screw when in the clamped state and a retaining device preventing the terminal screw from being removed from the terminal socket when in the open state.

The disclosure relates to a service switching device with an insulating housing, which has a front-panel side and an opposite fastening side as well as narrow and broad sides connecting the front-panel and the fastening sides, including at least one first housing shell and at least one covering part, which are connected by a first connector, which act on the broad sides of the housing shell and the covering part and hold them together whilst forming a peripheral joining line, the insulating housing including accommodating areas for connection terminals in the region of the narrow sides. A second connector is provided in the region of a terminal accommodating area and in the region of the narrow side associated therewith, which second connector holds the housing shell and the covering part together there at the joining line.

An installation switch having a housing and a connecting arrangement for a conductor having a terminal shoe. The connecting arrangement includes a socket having an interior, an insertion opening, and an access opening, and a screw having a screw head and a screw shank disposed in the interior of the socket. The screw is actuatable longitudinally between an open and a clamped state. The arrangement further includes a connection plate having a screw hole with threads for threadably engaging the screw when in the clamped state, and a retaining device preventing the screw from being removed when in the open state. The arrangement is configured so that the open state allows the shoe to be inserted into the insertion opening, the clamped state provides the screw being engaged with the shoe, and access to the screw is provided via the access opening of the socket to actuate the screw.

Installation control unit with a connecting terminal arrangement

The invention relates to a connector element for two installation breakers, adjacently attached with the broad faces thereof in contact, in particular, power breakers or residual current breakers, the housings of which are each formed from two dished housing pieces. The connector element comprises an approximately cylindrical base body with a first external diameter on the front side of which two radially-sprung, axially projecting first and second expanding arms are moulded. The external contours of the spreader arms lie on a cylindrical outer surface, the external diameter of which is smaller than the first external diameter of the base body. The free ends thereof comprise radially projecting lugs on opposed external lines, which, in the assembly state, clip behind recesses on the housings, for connection by means of the connector element, of adjacent installation breakers. A sprung spreader element is mounted between a first and second spreader arm such that the spreader element supports the sprung spreading of the spreader arms, and which impedes the sprung contact of the first and second spreader arms with each other.

Connecting element, connection and method for producing a connection between service switching devices

The invention relates to a connector element for two installation breakers, adjacently attached with the broad faces thereof in contact, the housings of which are each formed from two dished housing pieces. The connector element comprises an approximately cylindrical base body with a first external diameter, on the front side of which two radially-sprung, axially projecting first and second expanding arms are moulded. The external contours of the spreader arms lie on a cylindrical outer surface, the external diameter of which is smaller than the first external diameter of the base body. The free ends thereof comprise radially projecting lugs on opposed external lines, which, in the assembled state clip behind recesses on the housings, for connection by means of the connector element, of adjacent installation breakers. A spacer piece is mounted on at least one first or second expanding arm, such that the height of the spacer piece determines the minimum separation, to which the first and second expanding arms can be pressed together.
