The present disclosure relates to a method for parameterizing an automation field device which is communicatively connected to a server, having the following steps: initiating the method by transmitting a command to parameterize the field device on the server; transmitting identification information of the field device to the server; ascertaining a digital image of the field device stored on the server using the transmitted identification information, said digital image containing configuration settings of the field device and measurement location-relevant information and being designed to reproduce the behavior of the field device in a simulated or emulated manner; generating and proposing a parameter set for the field device using the field device information; selecting and confirming the proposed parameter set by a user; and transmitting the confirmed parameter set to the field device and parameterizing the field device using the transmitted parameter set.

An apparatus for determining or monitoring at least one process variable which comprises a sensor element, measuring electronics, at least one control/evaluating/calculating unit arranged removed from the measuring unit and/or an in/output unit arranged removed from the measuring unit and the control/evaluating/calculating unit. The control/evaluating/calculating unit and the in/output unit are connected with the measuring unit via a first interface, respectively a second interface, wherein the measuring electronics operates the sensor element and forwards the measurement signals via the interfaces to the control/evaluating/calculating unit as unprocessed, raw, measured values, and wherein the control/evaluating/calculating unit arranged removed from the measuring unit determines, improves and/or monitors the process variable based on the raw, measured values and makes such available via the in/output unit.

Apparatus and system for determining, optimizing or monitoring at least one process variable

An apparatus for determining or monitoring at least one process variable, comprising: a sensor element and a measuring electronics, which form a measuring unit; and at least one control/evaluating/calculating unit arranged removed from the measuring unit; and/or an in/output unit arranged removed from the measuring unit and the control/evaluating/calculating unit. The control/evaluating/calculating unit and the in/output unit are connected with the measuring unit via a first interface and a second interface. The measuring electronics operates the sensor element and forwards the measurement signals via the interfaces to the control/evaluating/calculating unit as unprocessed, raw, measured values. The control/evaluating/calculating unit arranged removed from the measuring unit determines, improves and/or monitors the process variable based on the raw, measured values and makes such available via the in/output unit.

A method for manufacturing measuring transducers, especially pressure or pressure difference measuring transducers, in which a high degree of quality, safety and accuracy of measurement is achievable with little logistical and manufacturing effort. The measuring transducer has a memory readable and writable via an associated RFID interface, and at least one sensor for registering a physical, measured variable and for transducing such into an electrical variable, wherein the sensor is equipped with sensor electronics, which serves to condition the electrical variable into an electrical measurement signal dependent on the measured variable, and which is equipped with an RFID transponder, via which the sensor is supplied with energy, and via which measurement signals can be read out wirelessly. The measuring transducers and/or their sensors are subjected to at least one calibration and/or test procedure, in which the sensors are exclusively supplied with energy via their RFID transponders, and their measurement signals are read out via their RFID transponders, and measuring transducer specific and/or sensor specific data derived during the calibration and/or test procedure are stored in the memory via the RFID interface.

Method for manufacturing measuring transducers

A method for ascertaining volume- or mass-flow of a medium in a pipeline, or measuring tube, of radius (r) via a sound entrainment method, wherein ultrasonic measuring signals are transmitted and/or received along a plurality of defined sound paths (m). During a calibration phase, successive, different flow profiles (v(r)) of a measured medium are established in the pipeline, or in the measuring tube, and wherein, for each flow profile (v(r)), a defined volume flow, or a defined mass flow, is ascertained, wherein, on the basis of measured values (v(r) . . . v(r)) ascertained in the separate measuring paths (m), each flow profile (v(r)) established in the pipeline, or in the measuring tube, is described by a characteristic parameter set (a, . . . , awith n&#x3b5;N) and wherein, for each flow profile (V(r)), on the basis of the defined volume- or mass-flow and on the basis of the measured volume- or mass-flow, a flow-profile-dependent correction factor MF(a, . . . , a) is calculated, and wherein, subsequently in measurement operation, a volume- or mass-flow ascertained via the parameter set (a, . . . , a, with n&#x3b5;N) is corrected with the flow-profile-dependent correction factor MF(a, . . . , a) determined during the calibration phase.

Method for ascertaining volume&#x2014;or mass&#x2014;flow of a medium

In a method for determining mass flow with a Coriolis mass flow measuring device arranged on a rotary filler, a correction value &#x394;{dot over (m)} is ascertained, which is proportional to the RPM n of the rotary filler. This correction value is subtracted from the conventionally ascertained value {dot over (m)} of the mass flow. The corrected measured value {dot over (m)}is thus {dot over (m)}={dot over (m)}&#x2212;&#x394;{dot over (m)}.

A sonic- or ultrasonic flowmeter, suitable for replacement of differential pressure flowmeters, comprising: a pipe segment, to be connected to a first and a second pipe, each having a diameter, which complies to an industry standard for pipe diameters used in differential pressure flow measurement, having a length (L), which is equal to a standard length for a flow restricting element of a differential pressure flowmeter, having a diameter (D), which is equal to a standard for pipe diameters used in differential pressure flow measurement, comprising a first standard connector located on a first end of the pipe segment, and a second standard connector located on a second end of the pipe segment, a primary flow sensor, comprising at least one sonic- or ultrasonic transducer for transmission and/or reception of sonic- or ultrasonic signals through the pipe segment, mounted on the pipe segment, and a sensor electronic for providing a measurement signal representing a flow of fluid through the pipe segment, based on signals received by the sonic- or ultrasonic transducers.
