A method for configuring control software in a rail vehicle. The control software, which is designed for a multitude of rail vehicles, implements basic functions that are required for the basic operation of the rail vehicles. The control software additionally implements optional functions required to execute client-specific requests. The specifications, combinations and functional sequences of the basic functions and optional functions are tested, validated, and approved before the functions are implemented in the rail vehicles, whereupon the basic functions and optional functions are made available in the rail vehicles. In a selected rail vehicle, at least one optional function is activated or deactivated using a switching parameter that is individually allocated to the optional function. The switching parameter required therefor is established outside the rail vehicle and is then transmitted to the selected rail vehicle.

A method identifies and verifies control software of a rail vehicle. In the method, the control software is formed by functions, with each function fulfilling an associated task. As a networked collective, the functions form the structure of the control program. A function-dependent checksum is generated for each function. A structure-dependent checksum is generated for the structure. A total checksum is generated for the control software from the function-dependent checksums and the structure-dependent checksum. The total checksum identifies and verifies the control software for homologation in a country.

A structure-dependent checksum is generated for the structure. A total checksum is generated for the control software from the function-dependent checksums and the structure-dependent checksum. This total checksum identifies and verifies the control software for homologation in a country.

Control software, which is intended for a multiplicity of rail vehicles, contains basic functions that are required for the basic operation of the rail vehicles. In addition, optional functions are implemented in the control software which are required for carrying out customer-specific requests. The basic functions and the optional functions are tested, validated and approved in their specifications, combinations and functional processes prior to installation in the rail vehicles. The basic functions and the optional functions are then implemented in the rail vehicles. In a selected rail vehicle, at least one optional function is activated or deactivated using a switching parameter which is individually associated with the optional function. The required switching parameter is created outside of the rail vehicle and subsequently transferred to the selected rail vehicle. The switching parameter is transferred encrypted to the selected rail vehicle, selectively specific to an individual vehicle.

Method for configuration of control software in a rail vehicle

A method for displaying secondary signal devices for a driver of a railway vehicle during a journey by a railway vehicle. From a current vehicle position of the railway vehicle and an already known signal position of a secondary signal device, an actual distance of the railway vehicle in relation to the secondary signal device is determined. In the case that the actual distance is not reached in respect of a predefined current warning distance of the railway vehicle relative to the secondary signal device, a proximity of the railway vehicle relative to the secondary signal device is displayed to the driver.

A control apparatus has a control lever, in particular for controlling a locomotive or a traction vehicle, and a sensor device for detecting an operating position of the control lever. The sensor device has an angle measurement device which is suitable for measuring an adjustment angle of the control lever, forming a digitalized angle value. A measurement range of the angle measurement device is greater than an adjustment angle range of the control lever and an evaluation device is connected to the angle measurement device which determines the operating position of the control lever based on the digitalized angle value of the angle measurement apparatus.

A magnetic resonance tomography device, wherein vibrations of device components, particularly in the low frequency range, are attenuated, as a magnet body surrounded by a magnet shell, which surrounds and defines an inner area. A gradient coil system is disposed in the inner area and an inner encapsulation cylinder also is disposed therein. The magnetic shell and the gradient coil system are externally and acoustically sealed from the inner encapsulation cylinder, and from a capsule. The capsule is formed as a three-layer system, including a cover layer, a full foam layer and a partial foam layer.

In an MR tomography apparatus damping laminated sheets are provided for reducing vibrations The MR tomography apparatus has a magnet body which is surrounded by a magnet housing which surrounds and delimits an interior volume. A gradient coil system is located in this interior volume. On an inner side of the magnet housing that delimits the interior volume, a damping laminated sheet structure is provided for absorbing acoustic vibrations which are produced on switching of the gradient coil system.
