Techniques are described herein for concurrent voice assistants. A method includes: providing first and second automated assistants with access to one or more microphones; receiving, from the first automated assistant, an indication that the first automated assistant has initiated a first session, and in response: continuing providing, to the first automated assistant, access to the one or more microphones; discontinuing providing, to the second automated assistant, access to the one or more microphones; and preventing the second automated assistant from accessing one or more portions of an output audio data stream; receiving, from the first automated assistant, an indication that the first session has ended, and in response: continuing providing, to the first automated assistant, access to the one or more microphones; resuming providing, to the second automated assistant, access to the one or more microphones; and resuming providing, to the second automated assistant, the output audio data stream.

Multiple concurrent voice assistants

A computing device may determine a respective disk access usage of flash memory of the computing device by each of a plurality of applications. The computing device may compare the respective disk access usage of the flash memory by each of the plurality of applications with a respective application-specific disk access overuse threshold to determine disk access overuse of the flash memory by an application of the plurality of applications. The computing device may, in response to determining the disk access overuse of the flash memory by the application, terminate the application.

Various embodiments are directed to techniques to automatically focus a digital camera. In one or more embodiments, a mobile electronics device may comprise a digital camera having a lens component and lens position component. A display may be coupled to the digital camera to reproduce an image with a first focal point. The digital camera may also include a focal point selection module coupled to the display to select a second focal point for the image and a focus control module coupled to the focal point selection module and the lens position component to provide focus control signals to the lens position component to focus the lens component on the second focal point. A system and a method are disclosed for configuring a device for receipt of data corresponding to broadcast media signal. The system and method include selecting a metadata preference for use in a search of metadata associated with the broadcast media signals and selecting a notification preference for a notification format. The selected metadata preference and the selected notification preference are transmitted to a hosting system. The device can then receive, in the selected notification format, data corresponding to a broadcast media signal, the broadcast signal corresponding to the metadata preference. In one embodiment, the broadcast media signal is an analog or digital video signal. The metadata can be in a non-video portion of the broadcast television signal, for example, a vertical blanking interval or header field.
