A system for receiving data for training a trainable transmitter used to subsequently transmit a modulated RF signal having the received data includes an antenna, a capacitive detection circuit and a control circuit. The capacitive detection circuit is coupled to the antenna and configured to detect data provided in a control signal of a remote control transmitter used to remotely actuate a device. The control circuit is coupled to the capacitive detection circuit and is configured to store the received data and to generate the RF signal having the received data to be transmitted by the trainable transmitter to actuate the device.

System and method for receiving data for training a trainable transmitter

A motor controlled rail assembly is provided which simplifies and automates the process of taking focus-stacked pictures. This device can be used to incrementally move a camera or other photographic device a programmable distance forward or backward in precise steps relative to an external object to facilitate focus-stacked photography. The device may include a motor-driven macro rail assembly, a controller assembly and a camera, which, generally speaking, are configured as follows: a camera is attached to a macro rail carriage which is driven by the motor and controller. The device may have different modes of operation (an automatic step mode, an automatic distance mode, a total distance mode, a distance per step mode, a continuous mode and a manual mode) to yield improved results in different situations.

A cooling system for a heat producing system includes a heat exchanger in fluid communication with the heat producing system. The heat exchanger is configured to receive a temperature control fluid therethrough. A first fan is operable in a first rotational direction to move air through the heat exchanger in a first direction. A second fan is disposed radially adjacent to the first fan, and is operable in a second rotational direction opposite the first rotational direction to move air through the heat exchanger in the first direction. A control system, including at least one controller, is provided for controlling operation of the fans.

A trainable transceiver for learning and transmitting an activation signal that includes an RF carrier frequency modulated with a code for remotely actuating a device, such as a garage door opener. The trainable transceiver preferably includes a controller, a signal generator, and a dynamically tunable antenna having a variable impedance that may be selectively controlled in accordance with a detector circuit signal. The detector circuit provides a measurement of the transmission power and is also used to vary the applied transmission power of the transceiver in response to operating and environmental parameters.
