Systems and methods for visualizing ablated tissue are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system for imaging tissue comprising: a catheter having a distal end and a proximal end; an inflatable balloon disposed about the distal end of the catheter; and an optical housing extending from the distal end of the catheter into the balloon, the optical housing being configured to position inside the balloon a light source for illuminating a tissue outside the balloon and a camera for imaging the illuminated tissue.

Systems and methods for visualizing ablated tissue

The invention provides for a system for in vivo real time measurement of NADH recovery kinetics, comprising: 1) a specific pulse sequence to non-destructively, yet effectively, photobleach NADH for measurement of NADH recovery kinetics; 2) illumination light parameters to acquire NADH fluorescence before and after photobleaching, without causing fluorescence bleaching artifacts, for measurement of NADH recovery kinetics; and 3) configurations for devices capable of photobleaching NADH by at least 10% within tissues for effective measurement of NADH recovery kinetics in tissues within a living subject or excised tissues and organs.

Systems and methods for visualizing ablated tissue are disclosed. In some embodiments, a system for imaging tissue includes a catheter having an expandable balloon at a distal end, an illumination device positioned within the balloon for propagating light from an external light source for illuminating a tissue being treated to excite native nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide hydrogen (NADH) in the tissue, and an imaging device positioned within the balloon for detecting fluorescence from the illuminated tissue, the imaging device being configured to communicate detected NADH fluorescence to an external fluorescence camera.

A broadcast programming network device includes a tuner capable of being tuned to any one of multiple broadcast video programming reception channels. When tuned to a particular channel, the broadcast video programming scheduled for that channel and icon related data indicative of the availability of commerce related information are received. A processor is provided to process the received icon related data to direct a simultaneous display of an icon with the scheduled broadcast video programming. A display screen then displays the scheduled broadcast video programming and, in accordance with the directive, simultaneously displays the icon.

Automating commerce on a broadcast programming distribution network

A commerce control network is provided for obtaining product information and for purchasing products through a two-way interactive broadcast distribution system, such as a cable or satellite television system. The network includes advanced television set top boxes that provide users with the ability to access product information through the system. A unique identifier is received with the program being viewed and included in the user's request for product information to assure that the information retrieved from the network is timely and related to that program.

Television commerce system with program identifiers

An apparatus for saving commerce information in a broadcast programming network includes a communications device capable of being tuned to receive any of multiple broadcast video programming reception channels. The communications device is also capable of receiving commerce information, including a list identifying a plurality of available products. A processor is provided to display the list on a display screen simultaneously with the broadcast vide programming being received. An input device enables a user to select one or more items from the displayed list of produces and to store the one or more selected items for retrieval and use at a later time.
