Devices for delivering and deploying an endoluminal prosthesis are disclosed and comprise a delivery catheter, an endoluminal prosthesis disposed at a distal end portion of the delivery catheter, and a wire. The prosthesis comprises a tubular graft having at least one fenestration. The wire extends distally from a first wire end through an axial lumen of the delivery catheter and the prosthesis, and through the fenestration in the graft. The wire extends proximally through a lumen of the prosthesis and through an axial lumen of the delivery catheter towards a second wire end. Additional devices, systems, and methods are disclosed.

Precannulated fenestration

A system may include an endoluminal prosthesis and a guide wire. The prosthesis may include a tubular body including a graft material wall, a proximal end opening, a distal end opening, and a lumen extending longitudinally therein. The prosthesis may include first and second fenestrations in the graft material wall. The first and second fenestrations may be spaced from one another circumferentially about the tubular body. The guide wire may have a first end and a second end both extending from a region proximal of the proximal end opening. The guide wire may enter the proximal end opening, exit the first fenestration, partially traverse an exterior surface of the prosthesis, enter the second fenestration, and exit the proximal end opening. One or more of the fenestrations may include a branch.

Preloaded wire for endoluminal device

An endoluminal prosthesis may include a tubular main graft body including a sidewall and proximal and distal ends. A first stent may be positioned near the proximal end of the main graft body. A second stent may be positioned adjacent to and distal of the first stent. An opening in the sidewall may be positioned longitudinally between a peak of the first stent and a valley of the second stent. A tubular branch may be disposed in the opening. The branch may include first and second end openings. The branch may be flexibly orientable between a retrograde configuration in which the first end opening is oriented toward the distal end and the second end opening is oriented toward the proximal end and an antegrade configuration in which the first end opening is oriented toward the proximal end and the second end opening is oriented toward the distal end.

Endoluminal prosthesis with steerable branch

An endoluminal prosthesis with a main tubular body and an auxiliary body surrounding the main tubular body to create a cavity between the main tubular body and the auxiliary body. At least one dividing wall attached to the main tubular body and the auxiliary body divides the cavity into at least two chambers, one of which has an outlet opening to the exterior of the prosthesis. Each chamber is in fluid communication with the main tubular body through fenestrations in the main tubular body and with each other.

Endoluminal prosthesis

The present embodiments provide an endoluminal prosthesis, such as a stent-graft, having a relatively low delivery profile. In one embodiment, the prosthesis comprises a membrane, and at least one stent having contracted and expanded states, where the stent is coupled to the membrane and maintains patency in the expanded state. The prosthesis further may comprise selectively oriented axial and/or circumferential fibers arranged at predetermined locations along the length and circumference of the prosthesis. An increased population density of the circumferential and/or axial fibers may be provided in areas in which the at least one stent portion is attached to the membrane, or in areas of higher physiological loads imposed upon the endoluminal prosthesis. Selectively orienting axial fibers and circumferential fibers at predetermined locations along the length and circumference of the prosthesis, but not continuously along the entire prosthesis, significantly reduces delivery profile due to the reduction in graft material.

Medical prostheses having bundled and non-bundled regions

The present disclosure relates to an endoluminal prosthesis, such as a stent graft that includes one or more fenestrations to accommodate endovascular disease, such as an aneurysm in cases where one or more side branches is involved. In one aspect, the prosthesis includes fenestrations that are pivotable to accommodate the dynamic geometry of the aortic branches. In another aspect, the pivotable fenestrations include a first perimeter, a band of flexible material attached and surrounding the first perimeter, a second perimeter attached to and surrounding the band of flexible material and a support frame disposed about a surface of the band of flexible material. The first perimeter, band of flexible material, and second perimeter have a geometric shape. The support frame includes a plurality of support units having curved segments. The curved segments of the support units may be concave with respect to an exterior surface of the prosthesis.

Prosthesis having an everting pivoting fenestration

An endovascular prosthesis and method of constructing a prosthesis device for implantation into the lumen of a body vessel. The endovascular prosthesis includes a fenestration in the device surrounded by an inner edge, and the inner edge further surrounded by an outer edge of larger diameter. A shaped protrusion of semi-rigid graft material spans the distance between the inner edge and the outer edge connecting the two edges. The shape protrusion has a surface area larger than the plane of the tubular body between the edges and therefore will have excess material. This excess material allows the inner edge and the fenestration to move within the circumference of the outer edge. The shaped protrusion may also form a semi-rigid dome.

The present disclosure relates to an endoluminal prosthesis, such as a stent graft that includes one or more fenestrations to accommodate endovascular disease, such as an aneurysm in cases where one or more side branches is involved. In one aspect, the prosthesis includes fenestrations that are pivotable to accommodate the dynamic geometry of the aortic branches.

Prosthesis having pivoting fenestration

The present disclosure relates to an endoluminal prosthesis, such as a stent graft that includes one or more fenestrations to accommodate endovascular disease, such as an aneurysm in cases where one or more side branches is involved. In one aspect, the prosthesis includes fenestrations that are pivotable to accommodate the dynamic geometry of the aortic branches. In another aspect, the pivotable fenestrations include a first perimeter, a band of flexible material attached and surrounding the first perimeter, and a second perimeter attached to and surrounding the band of flexible material. The first perimeter, band of flexible material, and second perimeter have a geometric shape. In one aspect, the prosthesis includes at least three pivotable fenestrations.

An endoluminal prosthesis may include a tubular main body and a branch. The main body may include proximal and distal end openings, a lumen, a sidewall, and a fenestration in the sidewall. The branch may include a tubular retrograde branch segment, a tubular antegrade branch segment, and a tubular branch junction. The retrograde branch segment may include an inlet opening fluidly coupled to the fenestration of the main body and an outlet opening fluidly coupled to the branch junction and positioned longitudinally between the proximal end opening and the fenestration of the main body. The antegrade branch segment may include an inlet opening fluidly coupled to the branch junction and an outlet opening positioned longitudinally distal of the inlet opening of the antegrade branch segment. The retrograde branch segment and the antegrade branch segment may be in fluid communication with one another through the branch junction.

A system may include an endoluminal prosthesis and a guide wire. The prosthesis may include a tubular body including a graft material wall, a proximal end opening, a distal end opening, and a lumen extending longitudinally therein. The prosthesis may include first and second fenestrations in the graft material wall. The first and second fenestrations may be spaced from one another circumferentially about the tubular body. The guide wire may have a first end and a second end both extending from a region proximal of the proximal end opening. The guide wire may enter the proximal end opening, exit the first fenestration, partially traverse an exterior surface of the prosthesis, enter the second fenestration, and exit the proximal end opening. No portion of the guide wire may extend distally beyond the distal end opening.

Prothesis having pivoting fenestration

An aortic stent-graft may include a tubular graft extending from a proximal end to a distal end, the graft comprising a proximal sealing portion and an intermediate portion, wherein a proximal end of the intermediate portion abuts the distal end of the proximal sealing portion. At least one sealing stent may be attached to the proximal sealing portion. A first fenestration window is disposed in the intermediate portion. The first fenestration window has a length determined by the equation L=1.23*D&#x2212;24 millimeters, where L is the length of the first fenestration window. D is between about 24 millimeters and 45 millimeters.
